We will visit the almond orchard before starting the activity of making Nougat. The cultivation is organic and environmentally friendly. We welcome hives on the orchard. We have installed bird boxes and bats that allow the development of biodiversity.
And more than anything I want to share my Provencal culture in everything I care about: gastronomy, the cultural and historical heritage linked to local agriculture, its impact on landscapes, etc.

What To Expect
We will break the almonds, cook the Nougat in several copper cauldrons according to the number of people and taste it while discussing the place of almonds in the history, culture, agriculture, gastronomy of the region and any other topics around the almond

5.00We had a very warm welcome by Agnes and learned to make a very traditional nougat. It was very informative and fun. She had a very nice way of teaching us and it was so lovely being in her warm cozy kitchen making this delicious nouget.

5.00So much fun! Agnes is a great teacher and a warm person. She is a wealth of knowledge about almonds, peonies, and Provence. The farmhouse kitchen is amazing and the copper pot is a treasure. I enjoyed tasting different almonds and cracking them open the old fashioned way. And the result is extremely tasty!
