5.00Had a fantastic day out with Eleni from Athens Foodsteps - we had lots of fun trying the best REAL Greek pies, lockamades, greek coffee, gelatos and meze dishes at a local taverna. Eleni was so forthcoming and knowledgeable about the food and historical sites we saw along the way. If you want a tour where your guide goes the extra mile - Eleni is your person. Thanks for the many laughs and delicious food.

Eleni put so much time, thought, and effort into planning out the perfect day for us, and continued to go above and beyond my expectations!! She took us to so many incredible local spots and also provided so many wonderful recommendations for shopping and sightseeing. She kept giving us more ideas and taking us to new places which we didn’t even know existed. We continued to spend time with her and had many great conversations as well. It was truly such an amazing day. I am so honored and grateful to have had her on my trip!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Athens Food Steps on May 1st. From the very beginning, Eleni made us feel welcome and completely at ease with her warm, friendly, and approachable personality. She greeted us with thoughtful little welcome gifts, which were such a lovely and appreciated touch. Even though many shops and the market were closed for the May 1st holiday, Eleni still managed to introduce us to a wide variety of authentic Greek flavors and local specialties, far away from the typical tourist restaurants. Through the food, she helped us discover the true spirit of Athens. What made the experience even more special was how much she shared with us about the city, its history, and local culture. She also gave us many valuable recommendations for the following days of our trip. We especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful she was towards our son, from the welcome gift to the choice of foods and her suggestions for family-friendly activities. The foo was more than enough the flavors, the local spots that I never found in my own, every stop every dish had a story behind it which make the experience meaningful, not just delicious. What really made the tour stand out was the guide. Eleni was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Greek culture and cuisine. I highly recommend Athens FoodSteps the best food tour that deserves every dollar, it's not a mass tourist trap, I' d do it again in a heartbeat.

Athens FoodSteps with Eleni with not just a food tour but a culinary and cultural experience that went above and beyond my expectations. It was a walk through history with her stories exploring the city in route from one tasting to another. The food tastings were plentiful and away from the typical tourist places. During and after tour I felt this was my 1st time visiting Athens not my 7th. If there is only one tour you can do ... this is the one you will not be disappointed! It was an exceptional tour.
