We loved this activity. Pick up was right on time, and the drive was beautiful. The camel ride was just amazing. It was not long, but a perfect amount of time. The tours of the valleys were lovely, and the hike to the waterfall was nice too. Some people in our group could not do the hike, and they drove them to the lunch spot instead. Lunch was delicious and maybe the best tagine we had on our trip! Overall, we had a terrific day. Hamza, our tour guide, was patient, knowledgeable, and made the day perfect.

It was a last minute booking. Our driver was ok but a little hard to understand. He also texted while driving the curvy Atlas mountain roads. The hike with Muhammad was amazing. Lots of tourist traps with merchandise but one Berber rug place was actually fantastic. Lunch was good and so was the argan oil coop.

Our guide Samira was friendly and knowledgeable, which I appreciated throughout the day. The tour itself, however, didn’t fully meet my expectations. We spent a lot of time in the car, and the stops were quite brief. We stopped for tea and bread but were mostly left to sit and talk among ourselves. There was a very short (about 5-minute) presentation at an argan oil cooperative, and lunch was a set menu at a restaurant. The highlight was the camel ride, though it only lasted about 15 minutes. The scenery was pleasant, but not especially striking. Overall, while the guide was great, the tour felt more like a scenic drive with a few quick stops. It may suit travelers who prefer a light, drive-focused experience, but I was hoping for something a bit more immersive and authentic.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on this trip, thanks to our tour guide Hamza Talaoul, who guided us through a beautiful hike to a waterfall and taught us about the history and culture of the Amazigh villages, all while treating all of us with care and consideration. Thank you!
