Enjoy a 3 hour quad tour to explore the best of what Samara's surroundings has to offer. Ride through the hills and jungles while enjoying some amazing mountain top views. After several river crossings, you will stop at some of the nicest beaches around town. It's time to enjoy a swim while your local guide prepares the fresh fruits. The maximum group size is 15 ATV's. What To Expect

Barrigona Beach

If you’re staying in Samara and would like to take a day to visit a lesser known beach, then you have to go to Playa Barrigona. This secluded crescent shaped beach is so beautiful that even Mel Gibson built a huge resort next to it! Luckily all beaches in Costa Rica are public so not even celebrities can prevent people from visiting this stunning beach.

Playa Buena Vista

Playa Buena Vista is a large beach with moderate surf and lush vegetation. At its north end lies an estuary; to the south is the mouth of the Río Buena Vista. The beach is ideal for sunbathing and walking. Some parts of the shore feature slightly sharp drop-offs. Trips on ultra light planes are organized from this spot.

It was just me and my son (5). It was early on a week day, and were the only ones in the group. The guide was friendly and helpful. Beautiful, unbelievable jungle. Highly recommend. Note: not for the faint of heart, as you drive a bit on the main roads!

Andre was our guide and he was so wonderful. Took us to a beautiful view, a waterfall we had all to ourselves, the beach, and the best pineapple we’ve ever had! It was our kids’ favorite excursion out of ziplining and tubing. Highly recommend this for your family! We loved it!

We booked the outback ATV tour around Samara. Our guide, Andre, was amazing and very knowledgeable. He also made the ride fun, taking us through some mud, dirt, and some great hills. Andre also pointed out some amazing hidden beaches, which we got to explore for a while. The tour was just the right length too - not too short of too long. We would definitely do it again.

A fantastic guided quad ATV trip with a great guide (Derek) to the mountains and beaches. It was ton of fun and the beaches were amazing. Obviously prepare for a lot of dust but it was just a blast riding around. We will be back again.

Our ATV tour was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our trip! We had an unforgettable time, and Derek, our guide, made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we were all comfortable throughout the ride, he even brought us cold water and fresh pineapple. The trails were exciting and offered stunning views. The whole tour was safe, thrilling, and so much fun! If you’re looking for an ATV tour, I highly recommend this one. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!

Had a great tour with Alex today that covered a few different beaches outside of Samara as well as the adjacent mountains. Alex was professional and offered information about the local wildlife, fauna and towns we traveled through. Tour was at an easy pace for our family with two kids (8/10). Would happily book again when we are in town.

The service was great. Friendly people who are fluent in Spanish and English. They provided good directions, safety equipment and fruits and water. They know the areas well and eexplain clearly. Would definitely recommend.
