Enjoy this tour between jungle, river, and beach to the rhythm of the horses’ hooves, calm and docile. The adventure starts as soon as the gate opens: you will cross the Buenavista river followed by the observation of animals and flora in the Guanacaste forest (typical from the region).
At the end of the track, the Buenavista Beach: deserted and preserved from any infrastructures. This long beach of grey sand is typically Costa Rican. Your horse will paddle in the waves of the Pacific Ocean coastline for a magic experience.
We will found our way back through the field occupied by wild cows and horses. The tour last for about 2 hours and a half.
We made only small group for more conviviality but if you are group of 15 you are welcome too !

5.00We had such a great experience. My daughter has never ridden a horse and was very nervous. But upon meeting her sleepy horse she relaxed a little. The guide was very patient with her and led her horse the whole way. He taught about some trees and plants along the way and took pictures down at the beach for us. He even pointed out the spot the crocodile likes to hang out. I was very happy with the experience and highly recommend checking them out.

5.00Amazing experience!! We have ridden with them twice. As a life long horse rider I enjoyed the horses so much and being able to ride through the jungle and along the ocean! Dream come true experience! My daughter who doesn’t ride came along and LOVED it. They provided her a perfect horse, so quiet. And the guide made her feel very comfortable. Horses were well cared for, which is important to me. Highly recommend. McFly was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and customized the ride to make it a perfect experience.

5.00We had an unforgettable experience riding horses through the jungle and along the beach. My girlfriend and I go riding on almost every trip we take, and this was by far the best one we’ve done. The horses were beautiful, calm, and clearly very well trained, and the scenery was incredibly varied, so it truly felt like we were out in nature rather than just following a marked trail. Our guide, Makfly, made the day exceptional with his knowledge, and great energy. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. I highly recommend booking a private tour with him.

5.00Amazing amazing amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the diversity of riding through the forest, through the river, along the dirt roads and on the beach was great. The saddle was a bit hard but the horses are very sound, allowing us to take in the views and enjoy the ride. Our guide was very informative and took us along at an ideal pace for our group. It was a really good 3 hour activity that suited our novice riders.
’d absolutely recommend HorseJungle. It was a highlight of our trip.

5.00We did the 3-day riding adventure with HorseJungle and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The horses were beautiful, well cared for, and very easy to ride, even for people without tons of experience. The routes Soren took us on were genuinely special – a great mix of terrain with plenty of wildlife, changing landscapes, and stunning views along the way, so it always felt interesting and never repetitive. Our guide, Soren, was amazing from start to finish. He made us feel completely comfortable and safe the entire time, clearly knew the area inside and out, and struck the perfect balance between giving us guidance and letting us just enjoy the ride. He also has an incredible way with the horses – it’s obvious he really understands and cares for them – which made us feel even better about the experience. If you’re considering a multi-day horseback trip in Costa Rica, I’d absolutely recommend HorseJungle. It was a highlight of our trip.

5.00It was great! I recommend 100%. We’re a beginner and we felt very comfortable. We could even gallop down the beach! Soren accompanied us very well throughout and taught us a lot about horses and more generally Costa Rica. The walk lasted more than 3 hours, it's well worth it!

5.00The tour was a unique experience. We were 2 adults and 2 children. 2 people have never ridden before and were accordingly rather anxious and later had great pleasure in the tour. Our guide Alejandro showed us some animals along the way and was very friendly and helpful.
