Six of us did the excursion Effran. He was wonderful. Very accommodating and FUN! We took an Uber from the cruise port in Ensenada. Book your return uber as there are not any local. Was about 30 min each way. The owner was also good to work with. Our group said this was one of the peaks of our vacation.

Called a day ahead, arranged transportation from cruise ship port. Was contacted morning of. Knowledgeable driver, easy 45 minute drive to ATV site. Took ATVs thru the dirt roads, vineyards to a really nice winery. Took a break, had a few drinks. Food was available and offered, we passed on eating. Got back into town with plenty of time to tinker around at the shops. Took drivers recommendation to try the tacos and margaritas at a local hot spot. Recommend the early morning ride as it gets hot and the roads are dusty.

This was billed as a $77/person dream ATV ride through Valle de Guadalupe wine country. In reality? It was a survival exercise straight out of a bad action movie. First: rides are not included, even though the website says they are. You’ll have to get yourself there—over 40 minutes from the Ensenada cruise port, with half the journey bouncing down dusty dirt roads past crumbling homes and stray dogs. The only “nice” buildings you’ll see are a few cartel-owned wineries in the middle of nowhere. No water. No sewer. No power. Just the smell of “why did I come here?” The “glamping site”? Three random tents slapped on the side of the road. That’s it. The man running this operation didn’t even know which company he worked for—he’s just a guy with pliers, holding them to the battery while revving the gas to get the ATVs to start. Mine fell apart mid-ride. The instructor? He didn’t even notice I was missing for over three miles. Yes—three miles. I’m stranded, alone, in the middle of cartel Mexico, with a dead ATV. Turns out… I was out of gas. Comforting, right? And when you finally escape? Your Uber will not wait. The next one has to drive out from Ensenada—another 40 minutes—while you stand in the blazing sun with no water, no bathroom, nothing around but dirt and poverty. So a “1.5-hour tour” turned into an exhausting 3+ hour ordeal: 40 minutes there, the ride, 40 minutes waiting for an Uber, then 40 minutes back to town. This was terrifying, disorganized, and dangerous. I’m shocked I’m writing this review instead of starring in a “missing tourist” headline. Viator needs to remove this listing immediately before someone gets seriously hurt—or worse. Do not book this under any circumstances.

First off, let me start by saying it was a beautiful experience to be able to ride a four wheeler through vineyards. Our guide was super sweet super nice very helpful. But one of our four wheelers died in the beginning of our ride so then I had to double up with one of my sons. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time. The only thing I can say is I thought because of how it was describes and that you would be stopping at vineyards and experiencing wine tasting, but that was not part of the excursion. So just keep that in mind That it’s simply just driving around the vineyards and looking at the scenery and that’s it. The other thing to keep in mind before booking is that it is a little bit of a drive away from the port so if you want to stick to a place near the port, this won’t be your place but if you don’t mind traveling off, and just knowing that it is simply only writing the four wheelers. There are no wine, tastingsthen you’ll love it.
