Revel in the fun of an adrenaline-pumping tour by all-terrain vehicle (ATV) through the lush countryside of St Kitts. Your expert guide shows you breathtaking views, volcanic mountains, and tropical foliage as you zoom through sugar cane fields and rolling hills at the base of emerald mountains. Guests get to explore the remains of one of the island’s sugar plantation estate, Lambert’s Estate. As a major neighboring landmark to the Wingfield Estate, it is a key stop and half way point in the tour route. Guests get time to explore the grounds, take pics and rest while the guide(s) take them through the history & of the grounds and the island’s culture.

What To Expect
Spectrum ATV Tours
At our base, we have a bar with drinks and water for sale. There is a clear up station for after the tour and restroom facilities. The tour orientation and practice run are also done here. Place of the start and end of the tour.
Wingfield Estate Sugar Plantation Ruins
The tour starts at the historic Wingfield Estate located in the foothills of St. Kitts’ central mountain range. When the English settled on the island in 1625, it became the first working estate on the island for tobacco, sugar and rum. It was originally owned by Sam Jefferson, the great-great-great-grandfather of US President Thomas Jefferson. Guests will see the ruins and may get a chance to visit the rum distillery to learn how sugar was converted into rum back in the day.

5.00The Equipment: We were on late-model ATVs that were clearly well-maintained. No mechanical issues at all, and they handled like a breeze. The Service: From the moment we checked in, the staff was professional and friendly. Our guides gave a thorough safety briefing that made even the beginners in our group feel confident. The Trails: The route they took us on was fun with great views. Our guides were funny, energetic and knowledgeable. The best ATV tour we have ever taken!

3.00Be VERY clear, this trail is NOT for beginners. If you are not mid-to experienced level, pass. The staff were great and did provide some training. The trail was far too difficult for the average rider.

5.00Awesome! Would definitely recommend whether you’re a beginner or seasoned ATV-er. The instructor should me how to operate the ATV and would check in periodically to make sure I was ok with driving it

5.00Our tour guide was Ivan. He was absolutely wonderful! We got there, he explained everything and we got to practice a little to make sure we were comfortable with the ATV then we were off! We made a few stops where Ivan shared some facts about the island what we were seeing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. An EXTREMELY fun day!!! Enjoyed it so much!

5.00Certainly one of the more exciting excursions from our trip to St. Kitts. From our initial booking, communication from Glenatine was prompt and clear, and providing transport to and from our hotel in Frigate Bay was extremely helpful. Our tour guides were Ivan and Manners and they were great in the initial training, keeping an eye on the group and supported my partner in keeping calm given it was her first time on a self-drive ATV. Ivan was the tour lead for the day and was extremely friendly and helpful in pointing out points of interest, and local plants and animals. Manners was at the back of the group to ensure everyone is doing well and was really chilled and funny. The overall tour was ~2 hours, and there were some great elements of off-road and village driving - some fun angles to be at for sure! The cherry on the cake was Ivan climbing over 30 feet to grab some coconuts simply because I mentioned I'd appreciate some coconut water along the way to cool off, what a legend! Would certainly recommend to anyone on St. Kitts!
