Anna was very helpful and interesting in helping us understand more about life in NZ and Auckland in particular. No question was too much!

Our guide Liz took us to 5 charming places. We had delicious starters, traditional pies and local green lip mussels, a trendy hot chocolate drink and an amazing hokey-pokex ice cream. The food was excellent. Liz is such a great guide, she gave us so much information about NZ food and culture and let us felt like a group of friends spending an afternoon eating and chatting about food and else. Highly recommended.

Nice tour of the city with general explanations. The food in the 2 restaurants was ok.. The 2 chocolates at the chocolatier and the ice cream in the ice cream parlor was very good. However, the exquisite and very good restaurants were only described in passing. Would have liked to try a small mixed plate here too. Drinks had to be paid extra. Price quality ratio a bit poor. The guide had tried very hard.

Alex was amazing. She took us to several places to try the local cuisine. Super knowledgeable about the history of New Zealand. The best part was having a local in the community show you many hidden gems that you would never find on your own. Great time!

Hubby and I had a private tour with Liz on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Best food tour we've ever been on! Liz not only oriented us to the food scene in Auckland, she took the time to orient us to NZ food/store options, how things work there vs the USA, and gave us invaluable tips that we used the entire time we were in NZ. Food options were varied and personalized to our choices. Highly recommended.

Our Auckland food tour with Debbie was tasty and informative. She met us at our hotel for a private walking tour of a few of Auckland's off the beaten path bar/restaurants and independently owned establishments. From the Hotel DeBrett to the Occidental to a new chocolatier business. We were able to learn some history of the area and enjoy foods from 4 establishments. After our tour was over we wanted to walk a bit more around the city, soDebbie suggested a harbor marina. We happened to catch the small drawbridge opening as a boat cam into the harbor. I recommend this tour on your first day visiting Auckland.

Debbie was our tour guide for the Auckland Food Walking Tour. My family and I have tried food tours all over the world; this was one of our favorites. Debbie is very knowledgeable about Auckland’s history, Māori culture, and the best quality food the city has to offer. We learned a lot. had the best time, and ate the most delicious food made with the freshest ingredients. We had yummy lamb kabobs, fish, venison pie, mussels, ice cream, and chocolate. We learned something interesting at each of the stops. Debbie even took us to two grocery shops to pick up Auckland candies and drinks we wanted to try. I highly recommend this food tour and guide.
