  What a fun experience. The team was very helpful and shared lots of info in the town and country. The suits were f’definitely strange but the key to successful floating! No luck on the lights for our group but it was still a memorable experience.

  Highly recommended. Just magic. You get stockings, thin gloves and a waterproof suit at the seaside resort. The guides help with dressing, explain everything suuuuper well and healthy friendly and helpful.

  5/5 What a unique and fantastic experience. So well looked after, reassured and helped the entire time. From the moment we arrived to check in until we left, there was nothing that Laura, Simon and Alexis could’ve done more to make our experience one to remember. I didn’t want to get out!

  For performance, the price is far too expensive. We were divided into two groups (we booked as a group and there were others). First it was our turn to do the floating, we got the suits and then we went to the briefing and then into the water. I find the floating in itself, was relatively unspectacular and got pretty cold over time. You had to be careful not to hold your head too far into the water, otherwise it can be that water enters, which of course can be uncomfortable and so it gets quite in the neck... when we had to get out, a lady very unkindly and almost urged us to change quickly, even though the other group was not ready yet.

  An unforgettable experience, very exciting and relaxing at the same time. Joaquin and Andrea experts, attentive and friendly, a 10 for them!!! We were very lucky to be able to see the Northern Lights, as we floated on the frozen lake. We went with a little boy and he loved it, he wanted to stay longer in the water. And finishing hot chocolate on a bonfire teepee. Everything perfect!!! I totally recommend it!!

  We had a great experience during our first ice floating!! Riemer and Johanna were wonderful guides and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe. The floating was a great experience and I can fully recommend it to everybody. No previous experience needed and it really is super easy and relaxing! Riemer did a great job explaining not just the floating, but also explaining the full scientific background of the Northern Lights and showed us how to quickly make a fire with just a log and a fire-stick. Separately, the general camaraderie between the tourguides and fun they had in their work was palpable and added to our great experience. I wish we had known this earlier, so we could have booked more tours with them. I highly recommend Safartica

  I tested the ICE Floating activity to change a bit of the "classic" activities that Lapland offers. And I must admit, I was not disappointed! We were very lucky with the sky, stars and aurora as far as the eye can see; while floating in the water at minus 22°! In short, an unforgettable experience that has been sublimated by our guide Marina, a real ray of sunshine, that brings joy and serenity to this experience! And for the icing on the cake: roasted marshmallows on a wood fire waiting for our bus back 🤗 What else? I recommend without hesitation!

  We had a wonderful experience Ice floating on 20/11/25. We had a small group and so were allowed longer than usual in the frozen lake and were treated really well by Raul and Dorien! We had a great time and would fully recommend this trip, especially as Raul was able to detect early signs of the northern lights for us and so we were able to see those as well as the unique ice floating. Both staff members were more then happy to take photos of and taught us a lot about the northern lights and Rovaniemi

  For those wanting something slightly more original than the husky sleds! We had a really nice experience, with guides Martin and Christian taking good care of us as well as getting us some nice pictures. They even got my slightly nervous 6 year old relaxed enough to try the water. She is now very proud of herself for 'swimming in the arctic'. We were a group of 14, going in the lake in two smaller groups not to overcrowd the water. When waiting we saw the most amazing aurora's and got to take really beutiful pictures. Of course, that is a bit a matter of luck, some things con not be controlled, but the location is beautiful and gives you a good chance. Afterwards we got to warm up by the fire (from being outside, not from the water, one does not feel that cold). Hot drinks and some snacks provided. I would just say be aware there is transport and changing etc involved, so do not expect to be floating for 2 hours or so (although I suspect that would be too cold for most anyway).
