With over 15 years of professional photography experience, we go beyond just chasing the aurora, we help you capture it beautifully. Our tours are led by an expert who understands Arctic weather, solar activity, and how to time each outing for the highest chances of success.
We offer flexible booking adjustments based on real-time weather and aurora forecasts. If conditions aren't favorable, we can reschedule (depending on availability) or cancel with a 100% refund.
If the camera can’t capture the aurora, we offer a Money-Back Guarantee, keeping only €50 per person to cover operational costs.

Tour durations range from 3-10 hours depending on weather and aurora activity.

What To Expect
Departure times are scheduled between 17:00 and 22:00. On the day of your tour, we will contact you via phone, WhatsApp, or Instagram to provide important updates and the exact pick-up time. We will begin by picking you up from your accommodation. Once in the vehicle, we will discuss the conditions and inform you of our route and destination for the night. After a brief orientation, we will drive you away from city lights to a location with the highest probability of seeing the Northern Lights. In the event of cloudy weather conditions, we will relocate to increase our chances of finding a gap in the clouds to observe the Northern Lights. If they start to appear, we will remain at the location and let nature's magic unfold, rather than risk missing the chance to witness the magic shown by continuing to drive. While waiting for the Northern Lights, you can enjoy the tranquility of the Arctic landscape and steaming hot drinks with cookies. Once the lights appear, we'll begin capturing your portrait with the Northern Lights as a backdrop using professional photography equipment. If you bring your own camera, we'll guide you on the best settings to capture this magical phenomenon.

5.00I became aware of the tour via Instagram and compared to other providers this one is great. We were picked up at the agreed location and it all worked great. We drove by car until the sky was clear and we could also safely see the Northern Lights. In our case, we even went as far as Sweden. Also the pictures that were taken are great and were all provided to us at no additional cost in great quality. You can really tell how much of a clue Rafael has and I felt in good hands the whole time. If we come here again, it's definitely with Rafael again. Thank you for this unforgettable night under the Northern Lights.

5.00It was a great experience. Rafael was looking for the best window to see the auroras and we found them! It was very nice! He is not lazy to do km if it is to ensure the sighting, and made us some beautiful photographs. If we had not been at -31oC we would have enjoyed it more, but that is not in your hands. Lucky your van to shelter us!

We took some really nice pictures and Rafa mentioned that there was more and we moved to another location. Waited for the Big show and it came. This was a magical experience. What a fantastic night!! 5.00We had a great night. The predictions where high, the Moon was Full. Rafa Made a first stop where more toursist and tours where. We took some pictures with nice Aurora’s. Rafa said there is more but we have to be patience…so we where. And yess after some wait and nice tea and cookies, it happened. The BIG moment was there. An Amazing appearance and such a wonderful experience Thank you Rafa for this great night!

5.00From the start, Rafa was incredibly warm and friendly and managed our expectations well, educating us on the different elements that contribute to the visibility of the Aurora and letting us know the probability of us witnessing it. He had snacks and drinks to keep us warm too! We did the drive north where we spotted the first glimpse of the Aurora. Rafa took some photos for us and checked his apps to see where the Aurora would be more visible. Honestly speaking, this sighting would’ve been enough to leave us happy and satisfied as we know the Aurora can be elusive and unpredictable at times. Rafa insisted we head further north and when we reached, we got the most beautiful view of the Aurora over the lake. Albeit not the most intense display but it was so beautiful. We waited it out and got the “explosion” we were hoping for. This paired with a clear view of the Milky Way made the experience feel other worldly. We could not recommend Nordic Escapes enough. Amazing service and the determination to get you the best views of the Northern Lights is unbeatable. 100/10, thank you so much Rafa for ticking this off our bucket list, we’re eternally grateful.

5.00I’ve been on several tours and this is without any doubt the best Aurora tour and you can take my word for it. Rafael delivered above and beyond my expectations in making our experience memorable, he picked us up on time from our hotels and drove us safely to an excellent spot where we’ve seen the breathtakingly beautiful auroras. Rafael is a professional photographer and he’s taken a lot of lovely photos as well as time-lapsed videos which I have kept on watching as it makes me feel like I’m taken back to the time and place when we’ve witnessed the gloriously amazing Northern Lights. 5.00We booked at the last minute and Raphael agreed to do the tour even though it was just my partner and me, since the forecast for the night was good. It was amazing — we visited several spots, but the first one was the best because we saw beautiful colors in a comfortable setting. We received the photos and videos the very next day, and they were excellent quality. Highly recommended!
