5.00If you're visiting Austin and want to truly experience the city — not just see it — I highly recommend booking a walking tour with Zachary from secret food walking tours. From start to finish, it was informative, engaging, and just plain fun. Zachary was not only incredibly knowledgeable about Austin's rich history and vibrant culture, but also had that ability to bring stories to life. We wandered through and into great restaurants passed by landmarks, and a few hidden gems I never would have found on my own. He wove in fascinating facts about the city's music scene, politics, food culture, and even a few dad jokes for good measure. What really stood out was his passion for Austin — you could tell he genuinely loved his job and sharing the city with others.

5.00The experience was a leisurely walk while stopping at about 5 different places. During the walk, we were given a history of the area. At the different stops, we were served small portions of different foods and treats and it was an overall excellent experience... My wife and I loved it, and a lot of it was also due to our guide Ben. He was personable, attentive and full of knowledge.

5.00This is a great introduction to the Austin food scene. The small intimate tour (4ppl) allowed us to get to know our guide Alexis and take plenty of time to enjoy our treats at each stop. Alexis was easy to find thanks to her orange umbrella😊. I very much appreciated that many of the restaurants had alternative options for pescatarians! Our guide, Alexis, was friendly and knowledgeable about the local food and restaurants. Communication prior to and after the tour was frequent and clear from our guide which made this a 5+ star tour.
