What To Expect
Overlooking the Amalfi sea and hills, you will be immersed in a magical, ancient, and natural environment. The Historical Lemon Garden awaits for you to come and visit to taste its genuine products. During the Lemon Tour you will learn that there are many benefits of adopting a mindset that embraces this philosophy: respect, gratitude, wonder, and the human ability to make the most of organic quality and a simple life, these are the pillars of a superior psychophysical well-being. You will access the unique scenario of the Amalfi Historical Garden, a typical example of terrace farming located in Amalfi, on the way up to Pontone (CAI trail n. 323). These are not "standard" gardens, it's actually a vertical farming, very hard to preserve. You will meet the guide who will warmly welcome you to the garden where the Lemon Tour takes place. During the tour you will take a relaxing break with a stunning view overlooking Amalfi and its blue sea. You will taste: organic lemonade, Limoncello and lemon cake. The atmosphere at the garden is so spectacular that it leaves you breathless and makes you feel connected with the spirit of Nature and the hard work of men over the centuries.

5.00We had a great time. The tour was a great length and the information was really interesting and digestible. The place was beautiful and the host was very friendly. The tasting at the end was also amazing.

5.00An absolutely lovely experience. We did the Tour with the light lunch and it is such a lovely family running this place. You get to understand the details of the lemon farming process. We certainly learned a few things about grafting and their organic process. The light lunch was just perfect. Home cooked samples of various dishes with a glass of wine, followed by pie with lemoncello for dessert. It is located behind the main street of Amalfi, but easy to find. The organisors send very clear insructions. If you have a few hours in Amalfi, but want to stay local and try one of (if not the only) organic lemon farms in town within walking distance, we highly recommmend you visit the Amalfi Historical Garden.

5.00Beautiful path among the lemon groves from Maiori to Minori and very valid our guide Francesco, environmental expert and Botany. Very nice stop to see the lemon grove where the owners welcomed us with great sympathy. Authentic and recommendable experience!

5.00We had a wonderful time touring the organic lemon farm, learning about the history and techniques they used. Joanna has a very inspiring story to share of her journey from a career back to working running her family’s farm. We booked the tour, wine tasting, and meal, which was excellent. Food was prepared and served by her and her mother, so was a truly authentic experience. So if you want to leave the swarms of tourists behind and experience a true Amalfi experience (and taste some excellent limoncello), book this tour!

The family who runs the farm is incredibly informative, you can instantly feel how much they LOVE what they do and how grateful they are for visitors who appreciate their beautiful lemon groves. Their passion made the experience so special. We also did the lunch and it was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and such a joyful way to enjoy the farm’s offerings. An unforgettable experience we’d highly recommend!

5.00On our fourth day in Italy, we did this tour plus lunch, and it was definitely the best thing we did so far. It might be the best experience of our whole trip! The host is so amazing and passionate about her family farm and tells amazing anecdotes from running its operations. The views are beautiful, I was nervous. It would be too many stairs for me because I have bad knees, but the tour stops frequently to provide information and the stairs ended up being manageable. Everything at the tasting was incredible, it doesn't get better than homemade lemon cake and limoncello in Amalfi! Do not miss this.

5.00Highly reccomended! The owner herself showed us around the garden and shared very interesting facts anout how they produce organic lemons. Make sure to also book the lunch, it is made from local produce and is very tasty.

5.00We absolutely loved this experience in Amalfi!!! Joanna, our tour guide, is a 4th generation family member running their organic lemon farm. Her enthusiasm for the lemon trees was fantastic. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into this place to make it last as long as possible. We did the tour, lunch, and wine tasting. It was all fantastic!!! The food was delicious as well as the wine pairings! The views from this Amalfi Historical Garden were amazing!!! We highly recommend this tour when in Amalfi!!! It is easy to walk to from Amalfi center.
