The hot-air balloon flight takes place at sunrise or at sunset, depending on the weather. Departure from Warsaw at around 3am (for the sunrise flight) or at around 8am (for the sunset flight). The departure time will be confirmed 2-3 days before the tour. After 2-hour ride, you will get to the meeting point for the balloon flight in the Podlasie region, around 150 kilometres north-east of Warsaw. There, you will join your pilot and reach the place from which you will take off (it can be located up to 500 metres from the meeting point). The flight takes around 1 hour, but the entire experience takes around 3 hours. After the flight you will visit one of the two attractions: a small town of Tykocin famous for one of the best-preserved baroque synagogues in Poland or Narew National Park with floating platforms. After the tour you will be driven back to Warsaw.

Since permission for take-off depends on weather conditions, it is important for you to be flexible. If the weather does not allow the flight (due to rain or strong wind), the tour needs to be rescheduled. Usually, 2-3 days in advance is enough to confirm the date. You should be available for the tour on at least 3 consecutive days.

Please bring comfortable, rather warm clothes. Usually the passengers are asked to help inflate the balloon, so we recommend not wearing your best outfit. Also, please remember to wear comfortable shoes, as you may need to walk across the moist or muddy fields after landing. High heels and flip-flops are definitely not reccommended.

We recommend bringing your camera and binoculars. However, we do not take responsibility for any damages.

This trip was my birthday present and I had lot of fun even though I have fear of heights the ballon flight was an amazing experience I definitely want to try again , I would recommend this trip to everyone , couples , families with kids etc. Our tour guy knew a lot and was willing to share his knowledge in a really interesting way which is definitely one of the most important things ( both in polish and english and I believe he speaks even more languages) , our trip took many unexpected turns and till that day I am not sure whether it was just coincidence and we happened to be at the right time and place or this trip was just planned in such good way . I don’t want to describe everything in details because I believe it may take the big part of fun away which is not knowing exactly what is going to happen next during this trip but It’s definitely worth it ! We saw a stunning sunset , flew ballon and met lot of interesting people and many more 😁

The balloon flight was a GREAT experience! The short minutes of silence while being above everythong were amazing. The trip was well organized: everything in line with the schedule, no lates, there was some more atractions of Podlasie and we had a chance to try regional quisine. Good atmosphere, no hurry. Comfortable car. Podlasie is one of the most peacefull dostricts in Poland. Mostly farms, many caws, some forests here and there. There's also a national park with very curly river, that was visible during the balloon flight. I liked that. Shortly: Worth taking.
