Join us on a group kayak paddle to explore the Bow River. Check out the local wildlife, capture that perfect picture in front of Mount Rundle and maybe even catch a glimpse of our resident beaver, Barry.

The early bird gets the worm, and in this case, the kayakers gets to hit the river first (before rentals are open)! Experience paddling the Bow River or Creek with no other boats (apart from your group). It's magic. Connect with nature and other kayakers as you enjoy the serene surroundings and picturesque views. Our friendly hosts will help answer your questions and point you in the right direction. Please note that participants must have previous kayak experience and should be fairly physically fit as the experience can be adventurous and you may be required to portage. Kayak Experience includes a potential portage so participants should be prepared in case they get muddy or wet.

Price is for a double kayak. Price is per boat. Please contact us for single kayak rates.

So much fun and a wonderful way to rest the legs after days of hiking and biking! Maddie was not only informative, but she was welcoming and FUN. We loved the entire experience.

Had a great time! So many activities in Banff were overcrowded. Kayaking was lovely. We had a small group. Cam (our guide) was awesome. Definitely recommend.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Abbey! Floating down the glassy waters on the Vermillion lake surrounded by the mountains was really calming. We were not the best at kayaking straight but the pace was very managable, and the portage over a beaver dam was very smooth with Abbey's help. Highly recommended!
10/10 would recommend the kayak experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic time during the kayak tour! Fergus was a great guide and gave us history, facts, and insight into the surrounding wildlife and terrain as we floated along, as well as snapping a bunch a pictures along the way. We got to maneuver (and slide down!) a beaver dam, saw an elk up close, and overall had a blast during the tour.

Fergus was really nice, and we got to see an elk! It was the first time I stepped on a beaver dam too. Very easy to kayak on those calm waters in the morning.

What a great experience! Our guide was so polite and educated about the area. He even snapped a few action pics for the group and helped us cross the beaver dam! The weather turned out to be absolutely perfect and the views were incredible.
