Starting from the moment we met Ionte at the door and continuing through the market visit, sangria-making (and drinking), paella prep and cooking, and enjoying our finished paella, we had a great time and made new friends. Fantastic way to learn and laugh our way through a new experience. Can't say enough good things about Ionte and Simon!

Maria was fabulous!! So knowledgeable on Barcelona and the food we made! Sangria, tapas, paella and cake were fabulous and easy to make for a “non- cook” The group in our class was fun and super engaged which made it nice! Since the market isn’t open Sunday we didn’t get that part of the tour so recommend another day if you want to experience the market. Highly recommend the tour!

This was an excellent, fun class. Simon and Maria did an awesome job. Simon took us to the Market to pick the fresh seafood and explained how to choose the proper items. He showed us how to properly clean and prepare all the seafood for cooking. Maria did an excellent job prepping all the other items we needed to make the Paella, cake and Sangria. We thoroughly enjoyed the class, and the food was DELICIOUS. The others in the class were fun to be with, and Simon made sure that we all were engaged in the class. We would recommend to anyone who would like to take a class.
