After shopping, we’ll head back to the GAB LAB, our modern test kitchen and dining room. First, dive into a fun Sangria-making class. Learn the secrets behind Spain's favorite drink as you mix and sip. Then, taste some seasonal tapas, bursting with flavor. Next, put on your apron for a hands-on paella class. Discover the history and techniques behind this famous dish. Once your masterpiece is complete, enjoy the meal with your new friends and family. To finish, enjoy a delicious Spanish dessert and a farewell toast. We’ll send you home with all the recipes, so you can recreate the experience at home. 5.00Enjoyed walking through the market and the cooking was very hands on - sometimes with cooking classes it ends up being more of a demonstration, this was the opposite! We were cleaning prawns, cockles, and mussels and cooking a good deal. Great class!

Simon’s explanation re identifying and selecting the best seafood options as we shopped at the market was informative (as was his discussion of the Market’s history). The actual cooking class was fun and everyone was engaged. We would repeat the experience.

5.00Absolutely fantastic!!! Our chef was Bibi and she was so knowledgable anout everything. We've made paella plenty of times but learnt so much on how to do it the right way. I'd recommend anyone to try this.

5.00Yaya was a great host. Was very good at showing how to select the fresh seafood in the market and give information on the market itself. Enjoyed all the parts; making the sangria, the cake, cleaning the shrimp, squid, putting the paella together. Nice conversation with the others. The paella we made was the best we have had ever. Highly recommend this paella cooking activity.
