What a fantastic experience! I attended with my mom and my 12-year-old daughter, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all three of us felt included and had a great time. They even helped my daughter make her own non-alcoholic sangria, which made her feel like a true part of the experience. The class was fun, engaging, and approachable for all skill levels. I am definitely not a cook, while my mom and daughter both love cooking, and somehow all three of us had an equally wonderful time. We learned, laughed, and then got to enjoy a delicious paella together. Hugo and Alberto were outstanding hosts—knowledgeable, patient, welcoming, and genuinely fun to spend time with. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

Comfortable shoes for the short walk to the market helps. Bring your appetite and thirst for the meal and sangria! Be prepared to make some new friends and enjoy an amazing meal with people who simply want to be immersed in the experience. Your friends and family will ask you to make this entire meal for them and you will learn all you need to do just that!

From the start when we shopped for the fresh ingredients to the toast at the end, we were immersed in a great experience - shop, prepare, listen, learn, taste, cook, eat, eat, eat. Making paella can be easy when you have the right recipe and your own ingredients. We made some great dishes and may make more at home. The group all enjoyed making our meal and bragging about our success.

The activity very well organized. Our tour director, Gaby, was very personable and explained everything. We loved the trip to the market, learning how to select the best seafood. Each of us, including my 13 yr old granddaughter, participated in the food preparation and cooking as well as making our own sangria. The almond cake for dessert was delicious too! Would highly recommend.

We had a great time at the Paella cooking class. Yaya was great and kept the whole class engaged. Lots of hands on activity. The tapas and sangria were great too. This was the perfect activity to do on our first night in Barcelona.
