Gabriel and Maria did a wonderful job teaching us how to make paella, the origins, and some tricks on how to prep all the seafood. I enjoyed learning the intricacies of paella and it was fun. This experience would be good for you if you’re looking to learn a new recipe and are interested in Spanish cuisine.

Was an enjoyable evening. Loved the market. Very low key and fun group. Learned about cleaning shrimp and how to tell if Mussels are alive. Paella turned out great and was plenty for all to eat. Was a great way to end the day. Would try another class if we are back in Barcelona. Mateo kept it light and fun.

The tour to the market was so fun and educational. The cooking part was fabulous, we all participated and learned as we went. The sangria was especially good! The chef and his assistant were so helpful and knowledgeable.

What a fantastic tour and cooking class. This is not something we would normally do, but we were travelling with our 13yr old and thought we’d try something different. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, including our daughter. Being taken by a local through the market and learning what to look for when buying fresh seafood and then learning how to prepare it properly was fantastic. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming which suited us so well and we had a lovely group. We will definitely be making the food again, including the delicious cake. So simple! I had hesitated about the cost, but it was worth every penny, I highly recommend. If you’re in Barcelona and have the time then do this.

This was so much fun! It really felt like we were cooking, but under such great guidance that we couldn't really mess it up! It was fun getting seafood at the market and later preparing the squid and shellfish. Our chef was fun and made it a really enjoyable experience. I was there with my kids, 20 and 16, who both had a blast. Highly recommend!
