What To Expect
Start your trip off by catching fresh bait with cast nets near the mangrove formations. Then venture further along the Barrier Reef where our local guide will lead you to the drop-offs ideal for catching king mackerel, barracuda, grouper, jacks, and a variety of snapper. As the day warms up, stop for a lunch break at Bread & Butter Caye or South Water Caye From here, jump into the water for some world class guided snorkeling. Our experienced guides takes you on an underwater adventure. Snorkelers often have close encounters with eagle rays, sea turtles, a wide variety of exotic fish, and even dolphins or friendly nurse sharks! This is a perfect day for those wanting to experience both fishing and snorkeling in one trip. Southern Barrier Reef which offers several different snorkeling sites within the reserve for beginners and experienced snorkelers.

5.00Medz and Jay were amazing! Very friendly and made a great ceviche from fresh fish and conch they caught while on the tour. Snorkeling was great, saw eagle rays, sting rays, barracuda, tarpon, and many other species of fish. Great full day tour and would highly recommend. Great communication and easy pick up and drop off.

5.00We had an amazing day fishing and snorkeling with Jeff and Captain Medd. They were fabulous hosts, guides, and cooks. We fished at a number of spots and were actually able to fish! Some tours take the poles if there’s a fish on the line, they want you to have the thrill of bringing it in! Our group of 6 caught about 10 good sized fish: jack, snapper and barracuda. The time on the caye was relaxing after fishing and snorkeling and tons of GREAT food-grilled fish we caught, ceviche, pineapple, banana bread, slaw, rice, chicken and more. This was well worth the $$. HIGHLY recommend!

5.00We had a great afternoon. We fished and caught Barracuda and a yellow snapper. We ended with snorkelling and saw a sting ray. Our guides then came over after the tour and Cooked our fish. We had a great evening And superb dinner. I would Definately recommend these people.

5.00Had a fantastic experience we caught barracuda and a yellowtail snapper after fishing. We did some snorkeling. First thing we saw was a stingray amongst hundreds of other colorful, fish, beautiful coral and amazing ocean life we even were able to convince our guide to come back and cook for us would highly recommend this group

5.00Awesome crew captained by Richie D! My group snorkeled, I went for the food!! The crew caught lobsters, Jack and Conch while snorkeling and then served up an incredible island feast including the fresh catches, roast chicken, rice, and beans! Highly recommend Miss Josie's!!

5.00Theodore, the Captain, and our cook were amazing. They were so much fun and were patient with our fishing skills. Our snorkeling was an amazing ex. The waters were calm and we got the opportunity to see a variety of marine life, including a nurse shark! Bread and Butter Island is so pretty and the lunch they cooked was outstanding! Do not hesitate to book this excursion!

5.00Our guides were awesome - Theodore and captain Lenox. They were funny and knowledgeable and gave us a great day on the water. We caught some fish, snorkeled and then they cooked up the fish for lunch on a great little island. A wonderful day all around - with the best guides!!!!

5.00My husband and I went to Hopkins, Belize for our honeymoon and honestly our trip would NOT have been what it was without “Get To Know Belize Adventures”! Their service is 5 star! They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. All of the excursions we participated in through them were unforgettable. We LOVED our drivers Shane and Dirk! We had a blast with Big G and Jeff when we went on our fishing and snorkeling trip. We loved exploring the jungle through hiking, rappelling, and zip lining with Kevin and Victor. We throughly enjoyed going to the Mayan ruins and cave tubing! And most memorable of all will be our Lion Fish Hunt with Kieran and Medz! We also had a golf cart with them all week so we could go wherever we needed to on our own time. Thank you so much Get To Know Belize Adventures for the incredible memories and 5 star service!

5.00We had an amazing day with Meds and Alden reef fishing and snorkel "hunting". They knew exactly where to find a spot to make sure everyone caught something - Barucuda and snapper were everywhere! But the most fun was watching my son catch lobsters with the Hawaiian sling! Alden was a perfect guide and pointed out all the beauty of the reef. The guys were not only expert fishermen, but they were pretty darn good cooks too. Lunch of grilled lobster and fresh ceviche was NEXT LEVEL! The trip was exactly what you imagine from an adventure in Belize. Great family-owned company who take the time to make sure you have the perfect trip. Don't miss it!
