Our guide Andres was amazing and so knowledgeable. He gave us a tour of all the churches and the surrounding fountains. The tour began with a hike up many steps to see the Capilla del Cerrito, down towards the Sagrada Tepeyac Garden, Capilla del Pocito, Parish Church of Saint Mary of Guadalupe "Capucins", Expiatory Temple to Christ The King, and lastly we ended at Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. All in all the tour lasted about 2 hours. The travel company contacted me the day before and we opted to get picked up for two people was 700 MXN, which was helpful. We went at 2:30pm got picked up around 1:30pm. Traffic was a mess so prepare to drive about 45 mins/1 hour. Would recommend Andres for anything Mexico City.

Our guide Carlos was a calming presence amidst the business of the Basilcia of Our Lady of Guadalupe complex. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the history of Guadalupe and the daily activiities and annual fesitivities that take place at the Basilica. He had answers to our questions and made the entire tour most interesting.

Carlos was incredibly knowledgeable and took his time to explain all of the incredible details of the structures within the property that the basilica occupies. I can’t imagine touring the space without Carlos or a guide because we truly learned so much. Highly highly recommend a guided tour!

Juan was AMAZING, kind and attentive. I encourage everyone to personally book with local tours and NOT WITH VIATOR. Travelers should know to NEVER book with Viator. After spending close to 1,000$ they cancelled 3 tickets I booked a week ago for the Fridah Khalo exhibit the same day with NO notification. Entrance tickets to the museum take a week minimum to book. Their repair was to offer a valued consumer a 10% discount on another tour. Their customer service is horrible and I will NEVER book with them again. Do yourself a favor book with “Mexico city tours” or ask your hotel for trusted companies. But more importantly #boycottviator
