Your Kayaking/Paddleboarding can be dry, but bring a towel, change of clothes or wear swimwear (you may enjoy getting up closer to the waterfall than you plan) Bring a warm jacket, camera, sunscreen, sun protection, drinking water, nibbles etc in a small bag.

What To Expect
While kayaking guests can explore up close, paddle through mangrove forests or photograph a colony of sea birds that nest in trees hanging over the river, onto our final destination, where a waterfall drops into the sea. We are mindful that not everyone in your family may be confident to kayak. Our Safety vessel is comfortable, always in calm waters & is on hand if they need a rest… No prior kayaking experience is required, Safety boat is on hand at all times if a rest is required. This option is great for beginner levels or anyone looking to have more time to explore the local bird colonies, Mangrove forests & Waterfalls. We are able to cater this tour to be a private tour (minimum numbers will apply)

The support boat was always nearby, helping my family when we got tired so we could rest and recharge before continuing. A perfect mix of adventure, care, and professionalism — highly recommended!

5.00Beautiful location. We were novice kayakers, & the guide provided clear instructions. This tour requires a medium to high fitness ability as it's a long paddle to get to the waterfall & back. We didn't make it all the way, probably only 1/3 of the way, when we got on the boat

5.00We had a wonderful time kayaking along the river. The views were gorgeous and we really appreciated the tour guides explaining the historical and cultural significance of spots along the way. The waterfall was gorgeous. We will remember this tour for a long time! Thank you to the guides who made our experience so wonderful!

4.00Enjoyed the trip. Professional and safety aware company. We soon got used to the techniques needed for kayaking, easily learned. Good experience. Didn't really get close to mangroves but did see some birdlife. Best bit was getting up close to the Haruru Falls. Three or four stopping points for history and explanations. Definitely a worthwhile experience and would recommend.

4.00We were a party of four (one couple and two friends). As we were traveling via cruise ship, the shuttles were running later than usual. We informed the team of the situation and asked for advice on whether they would be able to wait or if we would miss out. They kindly waited for our party to arrive, which we greatly appreciated. Shortly after the tour began, I needed to board the safety vessel as I am still recovering from broken ankles (they are still rather weak but healed) and was uncomfortable and in pain. Knowing that a safety vessel was available was the deciding factor in me still attending and giving the tour a try. The staff were very accommodating and understanding, without any judgment. Although I spent most of the tour on the safety vessel, the driver was friendly and made an effort to keep me involved by updating me on what the group was seeing and discussing at each stop. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the tour, which I really appreciated. The rest of my party had a wonderful time and said the experience was definitely worth it, even though they had to battle the wind and tide on the return journey. Which obviously couldn't be helped.

5.00Excellent morning kayaking 2 hrs to the waterfall and back, however the trip was advertised as cruise and kayak. There was no cruise just a support boat following us.
Lived up to expectations. A very nice outing with my wife.

5.00Great experience..you don't have to be a pro kayaker! They will look after your stuff on the safety boat. The waterfall was amazing after all the rain!
