In 1903, the Tourist Association of Victoria launched the Tally-Ho to offer guided city tours and help attract visitors and settlers, sparking a tradition that has delighted guests for over 120 years. What makes Tally-Ho truly unique is that it’s not just a tour, but a living piece of Victoria’s history. With its iconic horse-drawn carriages and personal, locally-inspired storytelling, it offers a rare opportunity to experience the city in a way that honors its past while creating lasting memories.
Our beloved Tally-Ho horses, now considered "at risk" of becoming endangered, are cherished symbols of Victoria, adored by locals and visitors alike. On each tour, our professional and fun-loving guides share fascinating history, local folklore, and exclusive insights, providing a personalized experience rather than just canned information. Join us for this one-of-a-kind adventure that combines history, heritage, and the true spirit of Victoria while preserving a piece of its iconic past.
