We told Jimmy we weren’t afraid of trying anything, so he took us to try various delicious dishes, like luzhu. In addition the malatang was a great discovery. For us this was a great experience of Chinese cuisines.

Mike, an original Pekingese, offered us a very interesting tour. In addition to the great tastings, he told us a lot about the city of Beijing, the inhabitants and the country of China. Then he also helped us with the app DiDi etc. Ales in all a very eventful and beautiful tour.

We were contacted early and met up with Jimmy at the metro station. We then spent roughly 3 hours with him going around various different restaurants in the hutongs. Our group of three adults al had a great experience. The pace of the route we walked was great and we got to try a lot of different foods around the neighbourhood. It would have been great to try some Peking Duck, but other than that, we really enjoyed the food tour. Jimmy was a great guide.

Anson was our tour guide. He was great. Very knowledgeable and understanding of our tastes. Knows the local area and restaurants well. Recommend this tour and Anson in particular. Well worth the money. Don’t eat before the tour as you will be very full by the end! The food was amazing. Thanks Anson.

Thank you Andy for a fantastic tour. We had a wonderful time sampling a range of local Beijing dishes and really enjoyed Andy’s explanations of the food, history and culture of the area. The food was amazing and was the perfect amount. Andy also went above and beyond - I had a few dishes I wanted to try and Andy sourced these for us. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Beijing. Thanks again Andy.

Our food tour experience with Mike was the highlight of our time in Beijing and China as a whole so far! He not only took us to eat delicious and local food, he also explained the history behind all the dishes, restaraunts, and streets that we walked through. We are so grateful that Mike gave us the chance to taste food and learn information that we otherwise never would have on our own, and we have already been back to 2 of the stops from our tour because they were so yummy. Mike went above and beyond and really made us feel welcome, and made us appreciate Beijing even more.
