Firstly, you will meet your guide in Milan and take together an express train ride to Como.

Enjoy pre-booked & guaranteed seats during the boat cruise along the lake with prioritary skip-the-line access to the ferry.

Take the express train back to Milan with your guide. The tour will finish in Milan's Central Station.

All time for transportation (train, ferry, subway, etc) is already included in the tour duration.
The tour programme & schedule can change for operations reasons (eg train strike, bad weather, force majeure, technical issues of the boat, etc)
At the end of the tour the group will normally take the train from Varenna to return to Milan, but if you wish you can stay in Varenna to spend more time there and take on of the next trains/buses by yourself (we will provide the tickets - this must be comunicated before 13:00 on the day of the tour)
During the summer period, there is a small beach in Varenna if you want to swim a little
The tour is always confirmed in case of rain
In the winter time (November-March) the tour starts 1 hour earlier (7:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 8:15 meeting point in Central Station), while summer time (Aprile-October) the tour starts 1 hour later (8:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 9:15 meeting point in Central Station).
It is possible to cancel free of charge only up to 24 hours before the tour, after that term it is not possible to cancel free of charge or modify the booking (for any reason). In order to cancel the booking, you need to do it from your account, please do not text us or call us to cancel the bookings - it can only be done by you personally from your account
If you wish to visit Last Supper on the day of the tour, please book it separately in the early morning or late eveving.

What To Expect
Como
After taking an express first-class train from Milan to Lake Como, you will take a walk in Como City with your guide. Como has a long history dated back even before Roman empire, was ruled by multiple Italian, German and Austrian emperors due to its strategic location. You will stop by the Duomo of Como, the last Gothic Duomo built in Italy and the most important religious site of the city. After that, you will join a boat cruise along the lake that will start in Como City.
Villa Olmo
Admire the Alps, film locations & celebrity villas during the lake boat cruise. Start the lake boat cruise from Como City. Firstly, you will be able to admire Villa Olmo and Villa D'Este. Villa Olmo was constructed after Villa d’Este in 18th century with neoclassic design. Its beauty is complemented with extensive and elegant lake front symmetric gardens, sculptures, fountains and immense English garden in the back.

5.00I wish Angela, our guide can be our guide on every tour. She is professional, pleasant, and personable. She is informative and managed the tour very well from the train ride to the cruise. We were always the first ones to board. Angela even sent me a text to make sure we were ok because we left without a final goodbye…sorry, Angela!

5.00Amazing experience with our guide Antonella at Lake Como. Gave us the best recommendations for restaurants, and made sure we got the first and best seating on the cruise throughout the lake. Helped having a small group so it was easier to get around, Belaggio and Varenna were small but worth the visit with how cute and quaint the small towns are against the picturesque look of Lake Como. So glad we decided to book this in December where it was less crowded.

5.00Alessandro was always sincere, helpful, patient and full of knowledge. Whenever we ask or demand something he was always there. We attended 5-6 tours during our Italy visit and to be frank this Como Lake tour was the best. Communication was always ready and we were relaxed about it, not being anxious about being lost or something else during our tour. We just enjoyed every second. The restaurant he advised also was excellent. Thank you Alessandro, we’ll never forget that tour because it was unforgettable.

5.00We met Angela in an easy to find location. She was friendly, on time, prepared and knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We had the best seats on the boat and train every time. There were only 6 tourists that day so it felt like a day with friends. She gave us a quick tour of Como and then we were off on a beautiful boat ride. She pointed out many landmarks and incredible historical buildings. In Bellagio, we took a little walk where she showed us the ropes then turned us loose to explore. Lunch in Bellagio was great and what a gorgeous place. Then off to Varenna where we walked a bit and Angela pointed out an 11th century church we would have walked right by. We explored all the little alleyways and stairs on our own, purchased a bit of delicous gelato and were returned to the boat for a sunset ride back to Como. Gorgeous day!

5.00We were met on time by Angela. She was friendly, prepared, knowledgeable and spoke English very well. There were only 6 in our group so it felt like a day with friends. Angela pointed out all the sites along the boat ride, gave us great local insights with suggestions of things to see in Como, Bellagio, and Verrano. We had a great lunch in Bellagio and walked in to a wonderful, seemingly hidden 11th century church. Would have walked right by if she hadn't pointed it out. The townspeople were friendly and the shopping was fun. Ended the day with a gelato as we rode back watching the sunset over the lake. Wonderful experience!

5.00Our guide Antonella was a very cheerful, lovely lady. She gave all travellers individual attention, which was only possible due to small set group size. I had a great day. The only downside was that the train back was extremely full, as all groups were going back at the same time. But because we had 1st class tickets, our group had seats.
