Firstly, you will meet your guide in Milan and take together an express train ride to Como.

Enjoy pre-booked & guaranteed seats during the boat cruise along the lake with prioritary skip-the-line access to the ferry.

Take the express train back to Milan with your guide. The tour will finish in Milan's Central Station.

All time for transportation (train, ferry, subway, etc) is already included in the tour duration.

The tour programme & schedule can change for operations reasons (eg train strike, bad weather, force majeure, technical issues of the boat, etc)

At the end of the tour the group will normally take the train from Varenna to return to Milan, but if you wish you can stay in Varenna to spend more time there and take on of the next trains by yourself (we will provide the tickets - this must be comunicated before 13:00 on the day of the tour)

During the summer period, there is a small beach in Varenna if you want to swim a little

The tour is always confirmed in case of rain

In the winter time (November-March) the tour starts 1 hour earlier (7:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 8:15 meeting point in Central Station), while summer time (Aprile-October) the tour starts 1 hour later (8:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 9:15 meeting point in Central Station).

It is possible to cancel free of charge only up to 24 hours before the tour, after that term it is not possible to cancel free of charge or modify the booking (for any reason). In order to cancel the booking, you need to do it from your account, please do not text us or call us to cancel the bookings - it can only be done by you personally from your account

Elma came across a responsible & caring guide, adapting on a Sunday due to 2 transport situations. She ensured our small group members moved together, yet have free time in each town, except Como because the ferry was late, which meant very little chance for her to go through the highlights in 25 mins She had to rush through it in a few mins so that we could jump on the scheduled train back to Milan. It would be a 5 if the itinerary items were fulfilled as planned (not possible due to factors beyond Elma’s control). Ps. Small tip for fellow travellers - Might be better enjoyed on week day instead. Sunday was very packed.

The “whisper” wasn’t working well so we couldn’t hear our guide very much. He tried to fix it when we asked. We also wished we had more time in Varenna for exploring. 40 minutes isn’t very long. Enjoyed all modes of transportation.

We had a wonderful day in Lake Como with our guide Antonella! She expertly led us through Lake Como, navigating us through all of the chaos (it’s an extremely popular tourist spot), allowing us to relax and focus on the beautiful day. She also shared many historical facts and was extremely knowledgeable about the local history.

We had a great time on our day trip to Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. Our guide Salvatore was fantastic. He was very kind and knowledgable and made the day so fun. I would highly recommend booking this tour if you’re looking for a fun day trip right outside of Milan.

Fun day on the lake with our guide, Elma. We had a guided tour and then free time at the 3 towns: Como, Bellagio, and Varenna. The boat cruise was relaxing, but can be crowded so make sure you find a good seat. Elma helped to reserved a table for lunch in Bellagio. This is a very organized trip to Lake Como. I highly recommend this tour, especially during the high tourist season when there are lots of people on the boats/in the towns and it’s hard to maneuver around. Just follow your guide and you’re good.
