Berat Castle
At Berat Castle, we will visit the fortifications while explaining the history. We will go through the religious monuments and explain their high number and historical development. Then we will walk in the middle of the castle, explaining how the life of the people has been until today and their social and economic conditions. In the background, we would see the interior of the city of Berat and explain some of the natural landmarks.
The King Mosque
The King's Mosque was the largest mosque in Albania during the 20th century. It was built by Sultan Bayazid II in the 15th century. It is a Friday Mosque with fine architecture and decoration. It is still the most used mosque in Berat today.
