What if I told you that most cruise visitors never really experience Bergen? They step off the ship, snap photos of Bryggen’s colorful houses, and think they’ve seen it all, but the real Bergen hides in the narrow alleys, the old wooden lanes, and the stories whispered by the fjord breeze.
Many travelers leave without knowing how this small coastal city shaped Norway’s history. Without a local guide, it’s easy to walk past centuries of heritage and miss the heart that makes Bergen so unforgettable. Don’t let your visit be just another quick stop.
This Bergen Walking Tour is your chance to see the city through local eyes. Your guide tailors the route to your interests, showing you the famous sights and the hidden gems most visitors never find. Step off the cruise and step into the real Bergen.

Ivan, our guide, was great. He led us through the streets of Bergen while telling us interesting stories about the city and its importance as a seaport. We were a group of 10, much better than I expected, since most tours are usually limited to 50 people, especially when cruise ships come. Highly recommended!

This tour was canceled on us 1/2 hour before it was to start so they are asking me to review something that did not happen.

I was there at 12.10 pm but I could not see any guide. It was meant to start at 12.15 pm on 31 Dec. I tried to call and contact, but no response. We waited there for 40 minutes. I hope to get a refund for this tour.

I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of Bergen! Our knowledgeable guide took us through the charming streets of this picturesque city, sharing its rich history. A highlight of the tour was definitely the breathtaking view of the Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its colorful wooden buildings and lively atmosphere. Seeing this iconic landmark up close and learning about its medieval past was truly fascinating. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bergen!

The guide was late and had a sign that said yellow umbrella, we were told red umbrella so it was confusing. Then we found out that it was a free tour and we had paid $28.00. Very disappointed,
