This tour gives you a great impression of El Salvador's diversity. My guide, Alfredo Diaz, provides a wealth of information about both the culture and the natural world. I especially enjoyed the short hike on Cerro Verde, where we heard many birds. He recorded their calls on his phone, and we could then see a picture of each bird. The restaurant for lunch is beautifully situated, overlooking the lake. All in all, a wonderful tour with many different experiences.

Alfredo was an awesome guide—super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained the volcanoes at Cerro Verde and the history around Suchitoto in a way that was interesting but not overwhelming. You can tell he loves what he does. Definitely recommend this tour if you want something fun, relaxed, and still really informative with an easy hike included.

The tour was really complete, we visited all what it describes on it, beutifulnolaces, good food in a really well located modern restaurant but what it made the difference was Alfredo Diaz, our guide, he knew everything², even frommanother conutries, plants, history, animals, civilizations, languages... and ALWAYS with a really nice actitude. Muchas gracias. Ps The only thing that it was wrong it was that he dorgot to buy a coffe to the driver (a really nice guy also) 😉

We enjoyed the tour and information about the area. We didn't get to see the volcano as the clouds came in. But we walked through the clouds and enjoyed our time up there.
