Our guide Mahabat did an excellent job! He provided detailed descriptions at all of our stops and was very kind in answering questions. Our favorite location was the Zoastrian fire temple at the end.

This is nice but I advise visiting this during the day time. We hired a taxi from hotel near Nizami street and paid 100 mannat to taxi. On the destination of mud volcanoes, the driver had already arranged two jeeps for us. We were send in group of 4 in these old vehicles on a bumpy rides of many kilometres. If was scary for us as we were all alone if something happens. Incidentally, the staff deployed was good and we reached back to our taxi. We paid another 100 manats for these taxis though it seemed reasonable from every angel. It was full of adventure for all of us

It was a tour that took us to many tourist attractions in one day. Lunch was surprisingly expensive, as described. Mud volcano drivers are strongly told to tip. Cash is required. And the guide was overbearing. That was the only sad thing in Azerbaijan.

I had an amazing experience with our tour guide, Said. He is incredibly kind, patient, and always ready to help with anything you need. If there’s ever a problem, he personally makes sure it’s solved. Since he’s a local from Azerbaijan, his knowledge about the country is exceptional — from history to culture to hidden gems. Said is not only professional but also a genuinely good-hearted person. I highly recommend choosing him as your tour guide. He made our trip unforgettable. Thank you, my brother, for your kindness and support throughout the tour! 🙏✨
