Oia's Main Street
The village of Oia is a picturesque and enchanting destination. Skaros Rock
Imerovigli, the “balcony to the Aegean,” is a village situated on the highest point of the caldera cliffs, about 300 meters above sea level, and is only 3 kilometers from Fira. Visitors to Imerovigli will be amazed by the breathtaking view of the famous volcano, and wandering through its streets and cobbled alleys is a joy. Skaros, a famous rock formation, is one of Imerovigli's most notable attractions, offering a stunning backdrop for photographs of the village's whitewashed houses. Imerovigli also boasts several beautiful churches, including Panagia Malteza and Panagia Theoskepasti. The latter is perched on the cliff's edge in front of Skaros, providing panoramic views of the caldera. The path leading to Firostefani and Agios Anastasios Church is another must-see destination in Imerovigli, offering breathtaking views that are perfect for taking photos.
