What To Expect
Maria Theresien Square
Maria-Theresien-Platz is a large public square between Ringstrasse and the Museumsquartier. Facing each other from the sides of the square are two twin buildings, the Natural History Museum and the Art History Museum. Square is decorated by the grand statue of empress Maria Theresa.
Maria Theresia Denkmal
The most impressive monument on Ringstrasse with grand Empress Maria Theresia and many another figures including W.A.Mozart.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Started on time, ear pieces worked and were comfortable. Dace is knowledgeable with great English. Kept a good walking pace and we really enjoyed it. Covered a lot of the sites we wanted to see.

5.00Learned a lot about Vienna's history and culture through this tour. Dace is a thoughtful and insightful guide. We had ear pieces to always hear her clearly and our group was not too big. The pace was not too hard for my older mom and there were breaks for washrooms and sitting throughout. Our travel plans got messed up last minute and Dace was able to swap us to another day and time which was a relief as well.

5.00The communication from my tour guide, Dace, started the day before on where to meet and what to look for (the green umbrella made it incredibly stress free). Dace was engaging and personal and I loved her ability to weave humour into historical facts. I truly was amazed at all of the knowledge she is able to retain and share. Her photos that she brings and incorporates into her overview also provides an in-depth look at Vienna then and now. I have been on several tours and Dace has now set the bar pretty high. I cannnot recommend taking her tour enough, if you are coming to Vienna. Thanks Dace!
