What To Expect
Maria Theresien Square
Maria-Theresien-Platz is a large public square between Ringstrasse and the Museumsquartier. Facing each other from the sides of the square are two twin buildings, the Natural History Museum and the Art History Museum. Square is decorated by the grand statue of empress Maria Theresa.

The most impressive monument on Ringstrasse with grand Empress Maria Theresia and many another figures including W.A.Mozart.

5.00Dace was very knowledgeable and willing to elaborate as requested. She showed much loyalty in her descriptions of the struggles for growth and autonomy of her city - I appreciated her enthusiasm for Vienna and she conveyed this well. Her showing us the balcony that Hitler pronounced from was poignant. As I am planning to visit the Lippizaner stables I was grateful she paused there. The churches were magnificent to walk through and she provided good context. She also kept track of stragglers unobtrusively.A lovely day. Thank you Dace

5.00We joined Dace for an historic walking tour of Vienna which we can’t recommend highly enough. Dace was so knowledgable and really brought the history of the city to life. The pace was perfect, content excellent and we left with such a great feel for the city and its history. Would highly recommend as one your first bookings in Vienna. Gave every subsequent visit perfect context.

A special mention for our guide, Dace, her knowledge of Vienna is quite extraordinary and we learnt so much in the 2 and a half hours we were with her. Moreover, she delivers the facts in an interesting and engaging way, so it keeps you informed and entertained, without feeling like it’s overload. Overall great tour, I would definitely recommend.

5.00A perfect thing to do on your first day in Vienna. Dace was a knowledgeable and charming guide. I learned a lot, got some great peeks at sites in the historical center and it helped my friend and I plan other things to do during the rest of our stay.
