Bai Biển Vung Tau
Vung Tau has four known beaches—Front Beach, Back Beach, Pineapple Beach, and Paradise Beach. Front Beach (Bãi Trước) is the most popular, which for many others is enough reason to stay away. In addition to the crowds, the water is rather polluted and doesn’t offer the best beach setup. However, you can still enjoy some fresh seafood at the many stalls and restaurants that have set up shop—they serve some of the most delicious seafood in the south of Vietnam. For a better beach experience, head to any of the other three. Back Beach (Bãi Sau) is much less dirty, and perfect for surfing. As the beach gets some wonderful wind swells, kitesurfing shops have appeared over the years, offering rentals and classes for all levels.
Jesus Christ Statue
Statue of Christ the King is an unforgettable Vung Tau day tours. You can see the statue of Christ the King, one of the important symbols of Vung Tau, from all directions in the city. But the best is still climbing to the top of Little Mountain and admire the statue. Then, climb the observatory in the statue and watch the panorama of the city and the surrounding sea The statue of Christ the King was built in the early 1970 s but not until more than 20 years after its completion. The arms are 18 m wide, 32 m high, two meters higher than the Redemptories statue in Rio de Janeiro.

Bruno, our tour guide, was there waiting for our group of 6 at the cruise port and led us to our private van and driver. He was very funny and knowledgeable about the various sights and highlights of Vung Tau. He can speak fluently in both English and Vietnamese and can communicate and interact with everyone in our group. We were able to tailor the tour itinerary to match with our interests and preference especially for a visit to a local market selling exotic tropical fruits. We were also treated to a great restaurant offering Vung Tau's specialty dishes. We highly recommend this private tour and Bruno.

I worked with Thu at Maximus to set up a private tour with a guide and driver to see the sites in Ba Ria Vietnam. He was very flexible to plan with. Pick up at the port was prompt and problem free. Our guide was Thuc Castle. He provided a lot of information about the Vietnam wars, history of the country, and the sites we visited. He was flexible to alter our itinerary when we were running late and he got us back to the port on time. We were extremely pleased with the tour we had as well as with the company Maximus. Highly recommend this organization.

Kelvin and his driver were a great tour team! Travelled in a group of 6 and had a great time. Kelvin knew so much about the city and was very flexible with the day, giving us plenty of options and recommendations to choose from to craft a great itinerary. He also took us to his favorite restaurant and it was a high on everyone in our group's rankings for food for our entire 2.5 week trip. Thanks Kelvin!

This was an excellent private tour, Hui did an excellent job in showing us all the sites and filled the day with excellent experiences. This is highly recommended and both the driver and the guide ensured that we had a full 7 hour tour. One note - the description of the tour should include a note about needing pants and proper top to see the religious sites. An amazing day thanks to Hui

We didn’t want to go all the way to Ho Chi Min from the cruise port and this was a wonderful alternative. Our guide, Castle, was awesome - very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw fascinating glimpses of traditional life and learned about the long history of Vietnam. Vung Tao is a charming city. Highly recommend!
