Yellowstone National Park is one of America’s great treasures. This full day safari will show off the highlights of this incredible place; volcanic thermal features, giant waterfalls, diverse wildlife, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and Yellowstone Lake.
Throughout the day we will drive scenic roads, walk historic boardwalks, enjoy the peace of natural landscapes and use our optics to view wildlife. Your guide is your driver, and their goal is to cover as many of Yellowstone’s famous features as they can in a day.
The guides will make every effort to showcase as many highlights as possible, and will structure the day around making your experience a memorable one. They will take current road conditions, weather, seasonality, and your personal interests into consideration as they move through the park.

What To Expect
Yellowstone National Park
Your exact route and itinerary will be determined by your interests, current wildlife sightings, and current weather and road conditions. Our guides are all highly experienced, with thousands of hours in the field, and will expertly tailor your safari to you and your group. Summer is construction season in Yellowstone National Park and sometimes this can impact our tours. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park and your guide will do their best to navigate road closures, traffic slowdowns, and construction wait times.
Mammoth Hot Springs
Mammoth Hot Springs is a collection of thermal features at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is best known for the travertine terraces that form from mineral deposits, but there are many other observable geothermal features in this area. The algae living in the pools creates the distinct brownish, reddish colors. Our safari makes a stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of the area. Our tours are customized for each departure. We may not stop here on every tour. Please communicate to your guide what you most wish to see in the park.

5.00Dallen was an excellent tour guide and showed us everything we wanted to see plus more with well placed bathroom breaks and delicious picnic lunch. I would definitely recommend this tour to see all the sights without having to watch the road while driving. Thanks Dallen!

5.00This tour was worth every penny!! We had the best driver Adam J. He made the day so memorable!! We saw everything, he even timed Old Faithful, so we didn't have to stand around waiting for it to erupt timed it perfectly!! We even had a Bison try to join us for lunch and he was professional and calm. All I wanted to see was a bear and he made it happen!! Leave the driving to them :)

5.00Great way to see the highlights of Yellowstone in a day. It is also a good orientation of the park, so that you could begin exploring on your own, which is what we did. Adam J was an excellent guide, full of passion for Yellowstone, wild life and natural history. He was patient, attentive and conducted the tour at a good pace. Even after driving around Yellowstone without a guide, I would consider doing this tour again in the future. The organization by the tour company was excellent.

5.00We did the Best of Yellowstone North private safari and had an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Adam J, picked us up right on time in Gardiner in a spacious, modern SUV stocked with snacks, water, and binoculars. Adam expertly guided us through Yellowstone’s iconic sites - Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and more. One standout moment was our picnic lunch at a peaceful lakeside spot with breathtaking views. Adam’s deep knowledge and friendly demeanor enriched every stop. One underrated perk of having a guide: he adjusted our route on the fly to avoid traffic and crowds - something we couldn’t have managed on our own. Instead of stressing over driving on the windy roads, we got to fully enjoy the scenery and wildlife, including bison, elk, and more (no bears this time!). We had an absolute blast and highly recommend Yellowstone Safari Company. We’d book with them again in a heartbeat.

5.00Had such a great time on this tour! Brandon was a great guide and so knowledgeable. He gave us some great history and showed us all the great spots of the park. As a first time visitor, it was a great way to see the highlights of the park. Highly recommend and if you are lucky to get Brandon he is a fantastic guide!
