Panchon was the most amazing guide! He made sure that we had an incredible experience. We saw blue whales, humpback whales, dolphins, sea lions and a myriad of birds, including the blue-footed booby! One of the best days ever!!

We booked this tour of Coronado Island but unfortunately it was cancelled due to high winds which was true. They re-booked the tour for another day but it again was cancelled due to “high winds”? They offered me a full refund which I was grateful for. Upon looking at the Marine forecast- the winds were none to minimal so I truly wondered why they cancelled our tour..….so I checked with other companies and managed to book the same tour to Coronado Island with another tour company. I’m so glad I did as it turned out to be a gorgeous day.

There are a lot of folks in town who will offer trips to Coronado Island, but Arjenio and his business associate really know what they’re doing. Our trip was on a windy day so they moved our departure from 9:00 am to 8:00 to avoid the worst of it. This was no problem for us, and only 4 of us total on the boat. As we approached the island Arjenio apologized but said the swells were already too big and had to cancel our island visit. Amazingly it turned into a whale- and dolphin-watching trip instead: saw several water spouts and fluke tails from Humpbacks, and lots of dolphin babies swimming near our boat. We couldn’t have been more pleased. Arjenio said it’s highly unusual for whales to be so close to Loreto (usually on the far side of the offshore islands). On top of that, they offered to reschedule our trip for another day! Most of all we appreciated Arjenio’s attention to safety. Highly recommend!

The wind and water swells didn't allow us to get to Coronado Island, but we were very glad that captain Arjenas made the decision not to attempt to go through waves. He put our safety and comfort first. We were fortunate to see many humpback whales and dolphins. An enjoyable boat ride with a lovely boxed lunch. Excellent communication before and during trip. Would definitely go again with such a safe and reliable team.

WOW - so beautiful and you get 2 full hours to snorkel, hike the island, or just sit in comfortable chairs and enjoy the quiet and beauty from the beach. The captain is super nice and takes care of everything. Our trip left an hour earlier than planned to avoid a windy ride back. The communication the night before about the schedule change happened over text and was very clear. The ride itself was gorgeous and when we got to the island the captain drove us around and showed us many beautiful rock formations as well as wildlife. It’s a small boat - probably they max it at 6 guests per tour.

Not worth it... The island is turned around with this supplier. Only the space of sea lions. Long time on the island without doing something

This was a fun trip and we were able to see the entire perimeter of the island as well as spend some time snorkeling and having a beach lunch. Food was nothing to write home about but atmosphere was top notch. Absolutely beautiful white sand beach. Cold water to swim in during January. Marine life wasn't overly exciting compared to other places we have snorkeled. From the boat, saw one or two dolphins and no whales unfortunately. Lots of sea lions and some blue footed boobies though.

Beautiful experience with a careful and thoughtful company. They accounted for our dietary constraints (celiac) and weather (we moved the schedule up to account for afternoon winds) to make sure we had the best possible experience. And once our guide knew I loved blue footed boobies he made an extra effort to make sure I saw as many as I could. We had a wonderful time!

Spent a fabulous day circling Coronado following pods of dolphins and viewing blue footed boobies, sea lions, and the interesting volcanic structures. We landed on a protected beach where we ate, snorkeled, and drank. On the voyage back we witnessed a large group of rays jumping out of the water. It was super.
