What To Expect
Isla Coronado
Coronado Island is a protected area where you will find flora and fauna of the region. The trip starts at the marina, going though the Sea of Cortez. With a little of luck, you will find a lot of dolphins, turtles and blanket rays swimming near the boat. Then you will find a lot of rock formations, birds and a sea lion colony where you can snorkel. Then, when you get into the island you can start with a walk where you will find beautiful views. After that you can enjoy the beach or go into the sea to snorkel near the rocks. A beautiful trip that you can not miss.

5.00Our trip to Coronado Island was very memorable. Our boat captain was great even though his English was about like our Spanish...."lil bit". I wasn't sure for the first 20 minutes or so...it takes a quite a while to get to the island, but he took us around...showed us several sea lions....spotted a whale, and told us as much as he could about the island with the language barrier. The snorkeling wasn't great, but we did see several species of fish, just not a great place to see the colorful fish I was hoping for. Lunch was very good, and the Cerveza was cold.

The scenery was magnificent; Artemis was a delight - showed us interesting formations, pointed out countless species of birds, and even found a whale for us to delight at. Guayacura adventures is very professional; meeting point was easy to find; lunch was good. Our beach spot was gorgeous. Thank you! Great experience.

5.00A wonderful 20 minute boat ride to the Coronado island and a leisurely cruise around the island observing sea life and birds in the 6 passenger boat. Plenty of time to dock in a semi private bay with white sand beach to snorkel, relax and enjoy refreshments. The snorkeling was fantastic. Clear water, many species of fish in the hundreds if not thousands. Our guide and boat captain Arjenas took great care of us. A great way to spend 4 hours.

5.00Overall a great visit to Coronado Island. We took a boat tour of the island and many birds and seals were pointed out. We were able to get close for great pictures. We then had a wonderful time on a beautiful beach. Amazing clear water with snorkeling. Drinks and a simple lunch made for a perfect day. Highly recommend.
