A blind tasting is a great way to get to know the wine in your glass. Sip through four wines with your guide & learn what each grape brings to the glass. Then you tell us what grape it is.

Please Note: This experience does not include a tour of the property. If you are interested in a tour please reserve our Grape to Glass experience.

Between the Lines Winery does not provide transportation. Please arrive at the winery at your reservation start time.

It was an amazing experience to enjoy wine and also test our senses with the blind black glass tasting. Our hostess Lacey had a passion for the wine and gave us great descriptions after we guessed. We felt right at home.

Our host “Paul”, he was very entertaining & informative. It was our 1st wine tasting, and although we drink wine we didn’t know the complexity of it. So learning about how the difference senes come together & how aerating the wine brings out the notes was very informative. I would recommend this place to the world! P.s. definitely try the ICE WINE if you like something sweet!

We did the black glass tasting. It was so much fun! Our server, Paul, was great. Super friendly and attentive. He was joking with us the whole time and made it a great experience. All of the wine we tasted was great (we bought a few to go home). It was different tasting the wines not knowing what each one was, then trying to guess which wine it was from the menu. Would definitely visit again!

Elaine made the tasting super special. Her knowledge of wine was superb! It was so fun trying to figure out the colour and varietal. I learned a lot about oaking versus not and that the cork means that the wine has seen oak. I highly recommend it and will go back and do it again! We had a little competition going at our table.

Thank You Tracy for making our small group visit with Niagara Vintage Tours so much fun! We loved the black glass wine tasting experience and having to figure out the wine by the pungent aromas and the taste and feel of the wines itself. I particularly liked the Lemberger wine during the blind tasting, a wine which we didn’t have anywhere else, so we bought a bottle of it. The wines were reasonably priced too. Another highlight is the setting: we loved the rustic (but modern with heating, of course) barn. It made this boutique winery and the blind tasting more intimate and enjoyable. Definitely do not miss coming to this winery and doing their black glass wine tasting.
