Really enjoyed our day trip! travelled with my 18 year old son and we had such a great time. We got on board early so we could grab seats on the upper deck, which was definitely worth it. My son especially loved the pineapple cocktails 🍍 The Blue Lagoon was absolutely beautiful. We did the speedboat trip — it was good fun and takes you through the caves, but personally I’m not sure I’d do it again as it takes time away from enjoying the Blue Lagoon itself. Gozo was lovely too, and I’d definitely recommend paying the €5 for the bus tour as it took us everywhere we wanted to go easily. The boat itself was brilliant, really clean and well organised. Overall, a fantastic day out and I would definitely recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on this day tour! The stop on the blue lagoon was just beautiful followed up with a subsequent stop to Gozo. We spent the 5€ go take the shuttle to Victoria. Had a lovely lunch and walked around for a bit before the ride back down to the boat. The ride to/from St Paul’s Bay we got to see some sea caves and other sites too. Would highly recommend this one especially for the price too!

We got on the boat at St Pauls Bay. Although it doesn't sail until 10am you can get on earlier, we went for around 9.40 and still managed to get one of the deck chairs on the top deck. The boat offered cocktails in a pineapple which we didnt get but we're reasonably proced. There is also snacks and drinks available to buy on board. As we sailed towards Cominonisland the guide explained a few points of interest and took us up close into the sea caves. Arriving at the blue lagoon we had around 90 mins to swim or have a look round comino island. Where all the boats are there was a bar at the top of the rocks and some sun loungers (i think we're paid). Some people were staying at comino the full day so the boat leaves them for around half an hour to take us to Gozo, which took about 10 -15 mins (and then it went back to Comino). You also need to take all your belongings off the boat. You cant leave bags or your towell on your chairs. We arrived at Gozo and had paid €5 for the bus to Victoria, which was worth doing. We walked up the hill towards the Citadel, had some food, looled aroumd the Citadel which is free to go in (you pay extra if you want to go into the prison and some other features - we didnt bother). We were given 3 hrs to explore and then had to meet the bus to head back to the port..Don't be late, they won't wait! The boat was at the port ready to pick us up for our slow and easy sail back to Malta which took around 45 mins. There were limited loungers on the top deck on the way home as the people who had stayed on Comino had them. I did manage to get 1 but my husband went downstairs in the shade. There were a couple of other sights and caves to see on the way back too. This was a great way to see the blue lagoon and Gozo , especially if you have limited time. Hornblower cruises were great, the knowledge and service was fantastic and the option to go down the slide, from the top deck, or jump off into the VERY COOL refreshing water of the blue lagoon was brilliant. It was busy but still quite chilled and they give you the option to change your mind and stay at the lagoon, if you dont want to go to Gozo or if you havent paid to go to Gozo you can do the boat ride across to drop passengers off and then go back to the lagoon. Very flexible and amenable and good value for money. We had a great day and I would definitely reccomend this trip. Note: remember to get your pass for the blue lagoon in advance. Its free and takes 2 minutes to select the day and slot (morning, afternoon) you are going. They do ask to see this at the port before you get on the boat.

Excellent day out for the family. Captain Kevin is great, has indeed got a great playlist as the soundtrack to the day. I recommend both the bus ride into Gozo and the speedboat experience once you get to the Blue Lagoon. I travelled with my Mum, 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter and we all really enjoyed the day x

Pleasant day trip to the islands of Comino and Gozo. If you want a deckchair on the upper deck arrive early. The optional speedboat tour is worth doing to see right inside a few of the caves. You get about 2 hours in Victoria, Gozo so just enough time to grab a bite for lunch and a walk around. We found the staff on the Hornblower boat to be friendly and helpful, there is also a small bar/restaurant selling pineapple cocktails and some fast food. Return to Bugibba Jetty around 5pm.

Excellent value, very good easy day trip, highly recommended. Definitely pay the 5Euros extra to get the bus transfer in Gozo. You can also pay 15Euros for a 20 minute speedboat trip if you want, but then you’d have less time at the Blue Lagoon, which was lovely but very crowded! If you are desperate to sunbathe get there early to get a space on the top deck, if not the downstairs is completely fine and shaded. Good toilet facilities. Staff all helpful.
