We are Located right in Maun, our experience blends cultural education, animal connection, and peaceful nature. Guests don’t just ride camels—they meet them, feed them, and learn their stories. With a locally owned curio shop featuring camel-themed crafts, and warm, personalized hospitality, we provide a one-of-a-kind activity that can’t be found anywhere else in the region.

What To Expect
At Okavango Camel Rides, your adventure begins with a warm welcome from our friendly team and an introduction to our gentle camels, where You’ll learn fun facts about camels. Next, you’ll enjoy a 1-kilometer guided camel ride, where you’ll gently sway through our peaceful bush setting. After the ride, you’ll have a chance to feed and pet the camels.

5.00The camel riding experience was great. Kesa - the guide was friendly and welcoming, she made sure we knew the history of camels, where they come from and how they arrived at Tshabong and Maun. We also got to learn how they survive in the desert.

5.00The family enjoyed the experience. Great time spent in the afternoon. The camels are well trained and the staff gave a great history of the place and it’s very inspiring. Can’t wait to see the the baby camels when they’re born.
Quiet an interesting place to visit.I got more knowledge on camels lives.
