The view was stunning, it looked even better in person compared to the pictures. The guide was very polite, gave a good insight and helped with the hike. I would do it any day again!!!

My friend and I did this hike during our trip to Albania, and Gledi was the guide for our group. They were very helpful, gave clear instructions throughout, and shared some unique local history with us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The views were absolutely incredible and definitely worth the effort. The only suggestion I would make is that the advertisement could better reflect the style and difficulty of the hike. It involves a very steep incline over a short distance, so if you do not have hiking experience or a good level of cardio fitness, it may be quite challenging. Some sections of the trail have slippery rocks, even in dry weather. The final ascent is a set of grated stairs built into the side of the mountain. These stairs are open-backed and have only a single railing, which felt somewhat flimsy and showed rust at some of the welded points. There are also a few sections that require light scrambling, so you should be comfortable with this type of terrain. I would recommend this hike for people who are sure-footed, comfortable with steep drop-offs, and have some hiking experience, particularly on uneven terrain and stairs. I would not recommend it for travellers with young children.

Reard and Altea were amazing! We only booked the night before and given that there was a hotel pickup, we were worried they wouldn’t see our tickets come through, but they messaged us very promptly to confirm everything, told us exactly what time we were meeting and were happy to answer any questions we had before and during the trip. They were very entertaining and knowledgeable about Albanian history and landscapes and made the hike very pleasant. Everything was efficient and they genuinely made the tour feel like a personalised experience. They even recommended a different drop off point after the end of the tour instead of the hotel so we wouldn’t waste the rest of the day. They sent us lots of names and pins for places to go on WhatsApp and were happy to help even after the tour had officially ended. I would definitely recommend them for an easy, enjoyable tour experience and would use again.

Edelina and his co-worker gave us a wonderful trip! The experience, starting from getting there through narrow streets, to the lake and the small hike was fun! Thanks for showing us the beautiful parts of Albania!

Compliments to the guide Dion! He was the greatest. He and the driver Samir (?) took us safe up the mountain, through the bumpy roads and back to the hotel safe and well. The communication was very smooth, the pickup was exactly on time and Dion made the way to the lake so interesting by sharing a lot of information about Albania. I learned a lot on this tour and could recommend it!
