We did a tour in Stirling about Braveheart and the true story of William Wallace, and it was such an incredible experience. The guide did a fantastic job connecting the real historical facts with the movie, explaining what actually happened and what was changed for Hollywood. It was fascinating to learn how William Wallace became such a symbol of Scottish pride and how Braveheart helped share his story with the world. The guide was super engaging, full of interesting stories and passion for the history. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves history, movies, or just wants to experience an essential part of Scottish heritage. Totally worth it!

We booked both this tour and the Bannockburn tour for the same day. We were the only guests on the tours with Steven, which allowed us to rearrange the schedule a bit and enjoy some extra special hospitality. Steven is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Scottish history, and it comes through in the tour. We would 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the real history of Scotland's fight for independence around Stirling.

David was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgable about stirling bridge battle and William Wallace. If you want to know where the original bridge and battle was, David has a tablet that shows all the details about the original wooden bridge. There’s no real trace of the bridge now, but David knows. A great tour guide. Take this tour if you want to know about William Wallace! He has even built a model of the original bridge in his yard. Fantastic.👍

Stephen was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Scottish history, and specifically the background of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. We left feeling like we had a much better understanding of that period of Scottish history. It was wonderful meeting Stephen, his wife, and their sweet new dog. Thank you again so much for having us!

Steven doesn’t just welcome you to Stirling—he shares it from the heart, with reverence and deep connection to the land. His presence is warm, grounded, and inviting, making you feel like much more than a visitor. I came to Stirling to scatter my grandfather’s ashes—a sacred vow fulfilled. Steven’s tour became a central piece of that moment, offering history and much more not as trivia, but as living memory. His words, and his spirit all aligned with the deeper purpose of my journey. If you’re looking for something real—something authentic, that speaks to the soul beyond the stone of Old Stirling Bridge—Steven’s tour is exactly what you need. Thank you, Steven. You embody the spirit of Scotland and made my trip exponentially more meaningful.
