  • Excellent Tour With Karis

Karis was an excellent tour guide and was also our driver. She was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained throughout the tour. She also had to be a planning manager when it was realized that a few people had booked the wrong pick up point and she had to move some chess pieces to fit the unforeseen additional passengers. This was a very good tour for the limited time we had off the ship.

  • Karis is a great guide

Karis was an excellent guide and a fantastic source of information for our excursion. She kept things light and bright, even including a little lesson on North Scotland Gaelic, and a sin along with The Preteners ‘500 miles’. Finally, Karis handled that coach like it was a small car as she kept up her historical and geographical patter. Anyone lucked enough to get Karis as their guide should feel very fortunate.

Loved this tour. It is a lot of driving into the country side. The Stirling Castle is amazing. The scenery is beautiful. Enjoyed stop for lunch. I would recommend just going to the bakery and getting a sandwich. If you sit down for lunch, you won't have time to walk the town. Enjoyed the stop at the Highland Cows. The loch Lomand is really pretty. Our driver, Karis, was unbelievable. Great driver, loved her commentary and really friendly. We were very lucky because we had a perfect weather day - warm, sunny and no wind!

  • Disappointing and Unorganized Tour Experience

We booked this tour with Viator during our cruise stop at Glasgow Port, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The highlights for me were supposed to be Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle, but our guide decided to skip Loch Lomond due to concerns about traffic on the way back. Instead, we spent an extended lunch break at Aberfoyle, which had very little to see or do. The guides were friendly, but the tour felt disorganized and poorly planned. If I had known in advance that we wouldn’t visit Loch Lomond, I would not have joined the tour. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I can’t recommend it.
