During the eighteen and nineteenth centuries the garrison was the base and headquarters for members of the British West Indies Regiment in Barbados. The cannons, the rarest Iron cannons in the world, the clock tower, the main guard house, and the house where George Washington the future leader of the United States stayed with his brother in 1751, and the mysterious tunnels.

It is mostly outside around the historic Garrison did finished up in the museum. Very good local history overview. Our guide was great and very friendly and knowledgeable .
