  • If you get the chance go and do the sunset option

The whole experience takes about 2 hours. From the meet in their offices to arriving back. We arrived early and signed our waivers. We then went through to the main room, which is equipped with water, a changing room, storage lockers, and toilets. When the rest of the group had arrived, we were 15 which is a big group and might lessen the experience for some, we went into a health and safety chat. We had h&s moments frequently throughout the tour as it could be viewed as dangerous. We then changed into our overalls. Most of us wore just our underwear underneath and for me this was a good choice. I found it warm even though we did the sunset walk and it was windy. We then fitted our harnesses etc in the facility where we met. It is a step by step process and although it seems tedious it is necessary. We also removed everything. Watches, all, items from pockets etc. we were allowed to retain our glasses and were given baseball caps if we wanted them. Both items were attached to our overalls. Finally we were breathalysed. Then we walked to the bridge, up the stairs, and onto the bridge. We were attached in our order, dependent on those on medication, and fear of heights, and off we went. The tour took a good length of time and we never felt hurried. At various points our guide, who was excellent, thanks Stephen, would check the length of the group to see everyone was alright. So we walked up the first steep section, then down to the centre of the bridge. We crossed over, then back up and down again. There were photos taken in our groups, and one mass one. I thoroughly enjoyed it in spite of my fear of heights. I was only ‘frightened’ once. Walking down from the first peak. And had forgotten about the fear by the time night had fallen. The views are brilliant and the sun going down behind the buildings amazing. Brisbane itself is wonderful. I also enjoyed the history of the bridge. We went back, bought our photos, and left. It all seemed slightly anti climatic and so we went for a drink. If you get the chance, do it.

  • It’s a must - do activity in Brisbane.

We were a small group of three, and our instructor, Saskia, proved to be an excellent guide and a great help. We climbed it in the morning hours, and as a result, the weather was perfect for us.

Stephen was a great guide with lots of stories and info about the bridge and city. Easy climb no worries about the height.

I completed this climb with my husband, son and long time friend, for my birthday weekend celebration. Liam, our tour guide, was lovely and gave us lots of information throughout... THEN he had the whole group sing Happy Birthday to me right at the peak of the climb - a very special moment. Thanks guys.

  • Lack of photos and a professional looking certificate

Climb was good but I really want the glossy photos and a professional looking certificate to remember the day. Now I can't find out how to get the photos which were taken of me by the staff on the climb.
