What To Expect

Experience a unique insight into the core of the only gin and whisky distillery in Ljubljana, taste our gins and Broken Bones Gin signature cocktails. Ljubljana finally has a distillery! Ljubljana archives tell us that Broken Bones distillery is the first distillery in Ljubljana in at least 60 years! It is a result of passion of two friends that share a family tradition in beer, wine and liquor production. Since 2012 they’ve dedicated themselves to the development of whiskies and gins that perfectly reflect their taste. With the Broken Bones Experience you will get a unique insight into the creation of our gins and whiskies. Broken Bones team will guide you through the history of distilling in Ljubljana and of course our process from the idea, philosophy, through development and selection to the production of our gins and whiskies. This is combined with tasting of our gins and two selected signature cocktails (gin tonic, BB fizz or cocktail of your choice), specially prepared with Broken Bones gins. The price includes 90 minutes guided Broken Bones Experience with tasting of our gins and 2 cocktails. Check out our website for latest news and info on products and tours.

Honestly just an amazing and wholesome experience, we did the gin tasting, amazing value and got to try loads of gins and a cocktail!’, also learned a lot about the history and how they made it!! Would 1000% recomend

I joined in the tasting myself, but it was absolutely amazing. They really are friendly, open to share their experiences and knowledge with us. I really enjoyed from the beginning to the end as I love Gin. Especially a Gin cocktail they made for us… It was fantastic. I recommend that you ensure that you have a safe way and route home after tasting as you drink(taste) multiple gin with neat! I highly recommend it anyway!

Boštjan and team have a excellent range of gins, and this intimate gin tasting is a fab experience to do in Lljubljana. You get to try the full range, as well as a delicious cocktail - cheers!

We had a great time at this gin experience. Our host was personable and professional and hearing about how the distillery came to be was very interesting. He explained about gin distilling and botanicals and answered all our questions. We had plenty of tastes of the different gins. We purchased the dragon one and would have purchased more if we didn't need to carry them back home with us. As the finale, we were offered a delicious cocktail. Yum!

The hosts are very friendly, approachable and you feel very comfortable very quickly. You can learn a lot about the creation of Broken Bones as well as the individual products. We tried great gins and cocktails and can absolutely recommend both the tasting and the products themselves.

Very stimulating and interesting experience. The staff really amazing. Interesting for both gin and non-gin enthusiasts. Tasted all the production plus two cocktails offered, super value for money. Highly recommended.
