What To Expect
Brooklyn Heights
Our journey kicks off in the historic neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, where we'll take a short walk through the southern end of the area and see how the locals shop at the multicultural and immigrant-owned bakeries and restaurants.
Brooklyn Bridge
Following that, we'll head up to the Brooklyn Bridge for breathtaking views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Hudson River beneath. Be sure to capture some memories with your camera at this renowned location!

3.00Alex was a great guide. He is very informative and knowledgeable, so it made the educational element of the tour very enjoyable. The huge downside was the actual food experience. The samples themselves were quite small and having been on numerous food tours, I am confident to say this one by far provided the smallest portions. Some of the samples provided were only a portion of the offering (e.g., 1/4 of a bagel or a very thin slice of pizza). Understanding the tour is not intended to fill you up like a sit-down meal, but the samples were fairly small. The food itself was mediocre. Again, Alex was great but the food not so much.

5.00Of all the small group tours I have done, this was simply the BEST. Erik was so personable and passionate when telling us about the area and the history , the food was delicious, my favorite was cream cheese bagel. Thank you Intrepid and thank you Erik, such a memorable experience!

His knowledge of the history and architecture was impressive, and he shared fascinating stories that brought the area to life. What really stood out was how relaxed and fun the whole experience felt. Erik was warm, engaging, and clearly loves what he does. The foodie stops were incredible—my favorite was the pizza place. Everything felt authentic and local, and Erik gave great tips for other places to check out later. I left feeling like I’d experienced the real Brooklyn, not just the tourist spots. 5.00We had a fabulous tour with Angelo. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more special! We loved hearing all the great stories of the history of Brooklyn, particularly about Emily's part in the building the bridge. The food was great too! Definitely great places and things that we would not have discovered on our own. We will definitely take another tour with Angelo as soon as we can visit again!
