Anna was an excellent guide. We were 2 people (of the 6 total) on this small group tour & it was easy to hear all of her interesting stories about the history & culture of Buda & Pest. On this tour you’ll use the bus & metro (our guide provided the tickets), so an added benefit of the tour is that you’re basically taught the basics of using Budapest’s public transportation system, which was useful for the rest of our stay. The stop for coffee & strudel (where you can watch them making it) offered a chance to taste half a dozen varieties. I’d highly recommend this tour for anyone needing a good overview of Budapest.

We had an excellent experience on the tour. To begin with, we were the only ones to book the tour that day, so it was almost like a private tour. In addition, the guide Ester was amazing, explained us a lot about the city and about the history of Hungary as a whole, cleared up all our doubts. We passed through all the most important sights, and we still tasted a dish with various flavors of strudel and a cappuccino. I recommend!

Our guide, Greg, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Budapest, its history, the Hungarian people, the culture. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made the time fly by. We enjoyed learning & laughing over delicious strudels/coffee at a local restaurant, as well as throughout this walking tour. Would highly recommend this tour & Greg the tour guide!!
