Tour was fine. Not worth price. Perfunctory information. Lacking some of the anecdotes that add color to these tours. Guide didn’t make much of an effort to talk to the group outside of the stops. Abruptly ended tour without information or recommendations about what to do next. We didn’t need it but I can imagine others would.

Anna was an exceptionally knowledgeable and warm guide to this amazing city. She made our tour special and memorable. We learned so much about its history and people — its years of communist rule and its democratic republic today. The stop to have strudel was icing on the cake.

  • If you only have a short time in Budapest this tour is a must!

Monica is the best! We covered so much ground all with expert guiding, great story telling and excellent grasp of Budapest’s vast and complex history. This tour combines walking and use of the subway system which means you will see sights on the Buda and Pest sides of the river. The stop mid tour at The historic Strudel House allowed us to sit comfortably and sample sweet and savory strudel with coffee. Thank you Monica for a great tour!

  • Wonderful Orientation to Budapest

This walking tour was a perfect introduction to Budapest. This truly was a small group experience with only 3 guests. Our guide, Monika, was informative, kind, engaging, and professional. She expertly responded to each member of our groups’s questions making it feel like a private tour. The pace was brisk but comfortable. The use of public transportation complemented the walk and enabled us to cover more ground and history! The strudel and coffee stop provided a perfect break and spurred a wonderful discussion of foods. I highly recommend the trip.
