We loved our tour with Birdie and Francesca. They were both so nice, explained each dish we were eating and were generally just really friendly and knowledgable. There was just us and another couple and the small group was really good. We tried goulash soup to start, wines, chimney cake, Lagos, two other dishes and a chestnut purée and cream dessert. All really nice. Great way to enjoy Hungarian food and learn a little about it along the way

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Birdie and the other couples in our group. We got to try a variety of Hungarian food staples that were enjoyable. The evening also included enough walking between spots so you didn't feel too full by the end of the evening. Because you walk from place to place, Foodapest has chosen some really great examples of Hungarian Cuisine rather than your typical tourist spots. You did have a full meal by the end, including several rounds of drinks, so we got our money's worth. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest! Birdie was an excellent guide!
