Overrated cruise with avoidable issues

This Budapest boat cruise is overrated and did not live up to expectations. On the positive side, the unlimited Prosecco was genuinely enjoyable, and the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the cruise. They did their part well. However, the experience started poorly even before boarding. Guests are advised to arrive 30 minutes early, yet boarding only began around 5 minutes before departure. This left a large number of people standing in the rain with no shade or shelter, which was uncomfortable and completely avoidable. The tour operator made no effort to board guests earlier or provide temporary cover, despite the weather, which significantly impacted the overall experience. As for the cruise itself, while the Parliament building and other landmarks do look impressive when illuminated at night from the river, this alone doesn’t justify the hype. In fact, these buildings are even more impressive during the day, especially when explored on foot along the Danube promenade, where you can enjoy the views at your own pace and appreciate the architecture in much more detail. Overall, the cruise felt more like a drinks-focused experience than a meaningful sightseeing tour. With better crowd management, more consideration for guests, and clearer value beyond the beverages, this could be improved. As it stands, it does not offer good value for money, and there are better ways to experience Budapest’s beauty.

Such a wonderful experience we went at 9 pm the city is so beautiful we enjoyed every minute of it and we had so much drinks that is the best tour I booked in this app as an full time traveler who went to so much places this was my best experience ever and Budapest left me speechless.

We had a great time until at the end of the cruise when we were about to arrive back to the dock, and Nagy Antonia one of the waiters treated my husband horrible and ran after hime to the toilet screaming in front of everyone that he cannot enter anymore and stood in front of the bathroom while someone else was still inside - daying that the cruise was ending in a minute and the water was finished in the bathroom - completely ruining the mood of the whole group of 8 people on December 31st. Very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Attended the 5:30 river cruise on Sunday evening. A great experience all round, sightseeing along the river with unlimited Hungarian sparkling wine. Round trip lasting approximately 75 minutes with flowing fizz. Team continually doing the rounds ensuring glasses were topped up throughout the trip. Well worth the cost.

A beautiful experience on the Danube. We had a lovely evening, clear and crisp. Everyone on board was celebrating and happy to be there. Of course, there were a few that were overserved and quite loud, but that is the human experience! The directions for the meet up point could be a little less confusing. Everyone in the queue was showing other people their booking information to make sure they were in the right place. It was not my isolated experience. Highly recommend the experience for the beauty and the price.

We did this on our first night in Budapest. It was beautiful with all of the lights. The staff was great at keeping our Prosecco full and my girls 14, 22 and 24 all enjoyed the beautiful architecture you can see on the Danube.

Nobody informed us that we should have been there at least half an hour earlier . I had a problem with my leg, I did my best to get there despite my pain, and they told us that we had to wait for the next boat to come.
