What To Expect

You can choose one of your two options. After taking a Busan dialect class, you can visit Bujeon Market. Another one, after visiting Bujeon Market, you can visit a temple called Samgwangsa. For 1.5hours, you will learn how to understand and read the consonants and vowels of Hangul. And you will learn useful expressions from the Busan dialect. Since you learn simple but efficient expressions, you don't know Korean at all, so you can easily participate in the class. After 1.5 hours of class, we will move to the market. You will have chance to review the expressions you learned in class by purchasing simple food in the market. The representative Buddhist sects in Korea are the Jogye Order and the Cheontae Order. Among them, Samgwangsa belongs to the Cheontae Order and is famous for its beautiful temple buildings. We tour Bujeon Market first, then purchase simple food such as rice cakes. Go to Samgwangsa Temple to see the beautiful temple buildings and enjoy a snack in the park inside the temple.

First off, Suyang is one of the best people to hang out. He’s constantly joking and laughing and has a good energy. I schedule a weird time so it was just the two of us and we went way off the itinerary. We toured the temple and market then he just brought me to eat all of his favorite foods afterwards and had some drinks. 10/10 guide and someone to hang out with.

I had my own private tour which was adjusted for me. We didn't do the learning Korean as I'm doing that elsewhere but we went through Bujeon Market where I bought things like enough sashimi for a few people for just ₩10,000 and drank a delicious refreshing drink called Sikhye made of rice for ₩1,000. We then caught a bus up to Samgwangsa Temple where we explored the different areas and had a delicious lunch at the temple. My guide is so full of information, he taught me so much. He has provided me with info before I booked with him right through to even after the tour he's still sending me info on different things to do. He really is so helpful. Highly recommend 😊👌

This class was really fun!! Our teacjer was extremely nice and also very funny. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The Korean language is so difficult but our teacher made it easy to understand. After class we went to a market to use the phrases we had learned. I really recommend taking this class. No Korean skills needed!
