  First of all, I would give the driver 5 stars! He was wonderful. However, the first day we had the trip scheduled for, that driver never showed up. We stood around in the cold for quite awhile continually being told he was just down the street. Not true. He was ill and they had no driver. Since the 13 hour tour would now clearly be considerably shorter and was fouled up, we opted to take it the next day. We asked Viator to compensate us for our transportion costs to and from the pick up location and they refused. Viator, you should be ashamed of yourselves. We have booked through you numerous times in the past and had planned to again. Maybe not! Horrible customer service! The next day, we went on the 13 hour tour. The weather was not nearly as good and the tour was way to long for what you ultimately experienced. Just not worth it.

  Wonderful perfectly organized tour ! Ian, our guide was absolutely knowledgeable, friendly and efficient ! Gardens are so beautiful 😍 and the city of Victoria too. We really recommend this tour !

• Butchart Gardens & Victoria A Great Tour

  While The Butchart Gardens were the favorite part of this tour, the whole experience was terrific. We were picked up as promised at Canada Place right on time. Our guide, Shiloh, was very knowledgeable about Vancouver, it's history, the present, and future. As we were driving through the city streets, Shiloh pointed out various building, explaining their importance to the city, etc. We had nice drive south to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, where we took a 1 1/4 hour ride to Victoria Island, then to Victoria BC. We were surprised at how large Victoria was and enjoyed exploring the city. We found a cool place for lunch with adult beverages next to the info center. Butchart Gardens was the highlight - I was a little worried that the gardens might be done since it was the first day of fall, but they were beautiful. The day was long, but exciting. Shiloh kept us informed about every aspect of the trip, from the ferries, driving thru Victoria, and more. He was an excellent guide.

  Our tour guide was funny, friendly and informative and Victoria and the gardens were beautiful, wonderful trip!

  We had a wonderful time.Butchard Gardens is the most beautiful garden we have ever visited and Victoria downtown is nice and interesting.
