Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is located on gorgeous Vancouver Island and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful cities. It is famous for the historic Empress Hotel, the Parliament buildings and beautiful Butchart Gardens. Upon leaving Vancouver, you will take a scenic ferry ride from the Vancouver mainland through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From here, you will have a driving tour to Victoria, and of Victoria’s downtown area featuring the Inner Harbour, The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Mile 0 and the historic Chinatown. There will be free time to explore downtown Victoria at your own pace. Then on to the internationally renowned Butchart Gardens. Today the garden showcases 55 acres of themed garden displays, including a Japanese Garden, Italian Garden and Rose Garden. Wind down your day with the scenic return sailing aboard BC Ferries and then back to where your tour began.

Quite a long day due to use of Vancouver Island ferry. You really need good weather for this trip and we were lucky Kim was a great guide not too much facts and plenty of fun. Victoria is a lovely city and the walking tour was great. Butchart Gardens were lovely in good weather. Super day out but bad weather would ruin it.

What a wonderful tour. Super organized and just the right amount of time allocated for each stop. Kim our tour guide was amazing. She knew everything, I learned a lot. Definitely recommend this tour.

It is a well planned worthwhile day. The day is paced perfectly; it is long BUT flows perfectly. There is time to regroup and further enjoy new sites. Our tour leaders were perfect; anticipating questions! They are professional and friendly at the same time! We were in a nice sized van compared to the oversized “tour” buses.(😂I felt sorry for those bus people. They certainly did not get our fabulous experience) Do not hesitate to book ; ask for Rene or Rebecca; if you can.. happy travels.

The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Our guide had us have lunch in town before going to the gardens, so by the time we arrived mid afternoon, most of the buses had left, so we had easy walking and a very peaceful time viewing the gardens. I was able to take many of my photos without other people in the way. Really enjoyed myself.
