What To Expect
Your 2.5-hour Cabo San Lucas Whale Watching tour starts by checking in at the Marina. Next, we’ll board our special equipped whale watching boat and sail on our adventure. We’ll be passing through Cabo’s highlights, such as the sea lion colony, Pelican’s Rock, Lover’s Beach, and much more! Our first stop will be at the famous Land’s End Arch for epic selfies. Based on the conditions, we’ll continue to the Pacific Ocean or the Sea of Cortez. We’ll be on the lookout for exclusive spots and the best whale-watching experience in Cabo San Lucas! All our passionate guides are marine biologists or naturalists. They will be sharing information on the whale behaviors we observe. You will learn interesting information about Los Cabos whales and wildlife. We can also talk about our research projects and the protection and conservation programs we partake. This is a whale watching experience like no other.

5.00We were a group of 4, two over sixty couples. Our 11:00 a.m. tour included sightings of several mother and baby humpbacks, a few jumping rays, and a large pod of bottlenose dolphins. The title of the tour mentioned that we could "hear" the whales, and I guess we did if you count slapping pectoral fins on the water. We saw a tail once and a breach twice. The guide Miguel was very good, he knew a lot about the whales and other species (although not a Marine Biologist as mentioned on the Viator app where we booked.)

5.00We booked our tour the morning of and was able to get on the 2pm tour. After a little miscommunication about where to meet, I called the company and they were very helpful with connecting us with our boat captain. It turned out we were the only people which made for a wonderful private experience. Our captain, Miguel was so friendly and made our trip amazing. We got very lucky and he found two large male whales right away and we saw them breach multiple times. He was very considerate of observing the rules of engaging with the animals and knowledgeable on their behavior. We went in search to find a mama and baby and with his experience, we found a very playful baby and loving mother whale. It was wonderful to see them interact together. It was an amazing afternoon and nature did not disappoint!
