There will be a member of the team who will guide you through a set list of our current release wines. Enjoy your private 45-minute tasting experience on the balcony overlooking the vineyard and mountain ranges, on the landscaped patio, or in the main tasting room. Our cellar door is located in the beautiful Broke Fordwich wine region and we invite you to try our award-winning wines from the Hunter Valley and other wine regions of New South Wales.

Our tasting experience is great for first-time visitors or someone who would like to taste a balance of easy-drinking wines alongside some of our flagship wines. 5.00The wine tasting at Caels Gate was outstanding not too mention the quality of the wines. I am a red wine fan and the 2023 Petra Stella was the best red I have ever tasted. The Owners, Chris and Rae, were very accommodating providing great service and arranging a customised platter for me and my partner. We also stayed at Petra's, the studio accomodation next to the Cellar door. It was also superb. Five stars all round.

5.00We Visited Cael's Gate Wines in early September with another couple and it was just a beautiful experience. The venue is homely with great attention to detail. The staff and owners were knowledgeable and friendly. Their Wines were delicious and felt different/unique comparing to most of the region. We ended up purchasing a case including one of their 'big boys' which I am looking forward to trying. The accommodation (we didn't stay) looked really nice and we are looking forward to returning. Thank you
