A Cairo city tour typically includes a visit to the Egyptian Museum to explore ancient artifacts and treasures, followed by a trip to the Citadel of Saladin to see the impressive medieval fortress and the Mosque of Muhammad Ali. The tour then heads to Coptic Cairo, where visitors can see ancient churches and learn about the history of Christianity in Egypt. Finally, the tour concludes with a trip to the bustling Khan el Khalili market to shop for souvenirs and experience the vibrant culture of Cairo.

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo
This is another amazing all-day tour which starts with an Egyptoria Tours representative picking you up from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop on this Cairo day tour is the Egyptian Museum. A stunning museum inside and out which houses over 250,000 artifacts spanning 5,000 years of history. They have a massive exhibit honoring King Tutankhamen including much of his gold and jewelry which was not discovered until the 1920s.
Cairo Citadel
Stop number two is the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque, which is located inside the Citadel of Salah El Din. You probably saw the mosque as you came into Cairo as it can be seen from almost any direction coming into the city. This mosque was built during the Ottoman Empire.

The Cairo city tour turned out to be an excellent choice for us. We had the opportunity to explore various notable attractions, including the citadel of Saladin and Mohamed Ali mosque. Additionally we visited Coptic Cairo which added a fascinating cultural dimension to our experience. Although we initially planned to visit the Egyptian museum, our guide recommended the civilisation museum instead. It turned out to be an amazing alternative, and we were throughly impressed by the exhibits. Tom, the tour manager assured us that if there was any spare time after completing the main itinerary, he would take us to the Egyptian museum as well, only charging us for the entrance fees. The flexibility was greatly appreciated. Navigating through the busy traffic was a breeze, thanks to our skilled and clever driver. Mahmoud our guide proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, enriching our tour with his insights and expertise. Overall it was a fascinating tour that exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to others

Tom was instrumental in planning our custom 2 day private tour of Cairo and the pyramids. Our guide, Mofasa was excellent! He has wealth of knowledge of Egyptian history and culture and a passion for sharing it!! We learned so much, had many laughs and felt like we we’re leaving family by the end of our tour. Thank you for an unforgettable experience ❤️

The entire program is phenomenal if you have a great guide. My favorite was the visit to the Egypt museum. Though most of King Tutankhamum belongings have been moved to the New museum in Giza, which by the way will be the largest museum in the world once it is finished, the rest of the museum is beyond description. My second favorite was the cavern church. One of the oldest churches, it was built on top of the cave where Mary, baby Jesus, and Joseph inhabited for three months right after leaving Israel. You get to see the cave. The feeling is unreal. Now, these and the other places were made interesting and very attractive by our guide Musstaffa or Mufasa. He is a professional and more in all the sense of the word. Very knowledgeable, polite, respectful, and very helpful. My wife wasn't feeling good the first day so he arranged a SECOND visit to the cavern and hanging churches because that was very important for her to see. That should tell you all. His goal is to make sure you are very happy. He succeeded. So, do the arrangements with Tom and request Musstaffa.

I would suggest Christopher tours to anyone and definitely use them again. Christopher tours are not just tour guides or bus drivers, but a family that put their hearts and souls nto their work. Their historical knowledge of Cairo is unbelievable, and you will get to know so much about Cairo. We requested them to take us to local shops to eat and explore., This was never a problem to them. We truly experienced Cairo like no other tourists. My wife's baggage went missing at Cairo airport and Anus from Christopher tours did everything to try and help us. Few days later he offered to meet us at the airport. He did not even want money, he just wanted to help us. It was difficult to get access to the airport, but Anus begged them to help us. In the end my wife was allowed to enter the airport, search the airport storeroom and found her baggage. Thank you so much Christopher tours, you are amazing

The Egyptoria staff was hands-on and used an excellent Egyptology Historian, who gripped and held the group's attention from start to end. The staff also prepared a birthday surprise for the two birthdays on the trip, and treated the whole group to a beautiful cake and special discounts at selected shops. The staff's attention to detail was impeccable. The coach that Egyptoria used for 23 pax was large and luxurious, so that everyone could spread out. We suggest you try out the Egyptoria team once for a really special and informative trip - you'll keep going back for more!

I learned about Egyptoria and Tom ( the owner) through a guest at Marriot Mena House Hotel at Giza. This guest talked to me very highly about Egyptoria so I decided to give it a try. I chose to get the Cairo City Tour on July 16 2021. I was picked up at the hotel at 9 am by Jimmy (the driver) and Zezo (tour guide). They were on time and since the beginning Zezo and Jimmy were very helpful. I enjoyed a cup of coffee at a local restaurant and from there the adventure started. I was taken to a National Museum, a mosque, a bazar and other interesting places in Cairo. I also enjoyed a lunch meal at another local restaurant. Just like the guest at the hotel I highly recommend Egyptoria to everyone who wants to visit and learn about the culture in Egypt. Tom, Zezo and Jimmy are very professional, helpful and always ready to accommodate your itineraries or activities. I will definitely will use Egyptoria services on my next trip to Egypt.
