Well it was raining constantly with no chance of letting up. Thought they might cancel but went ahead. Best decision ever. Seating inside boat, bus to viewstations which are covered. Best day ever seeing 6 Grizzly bears and 1 cub to the tour operators shock due to weather conditions. Filmed one of the bears eating a salmon out of the river close by just breathtaking to watch. Also saw the salmon swimming upstream jumping in and out of the water along with an Eagle. Lunch provided with snacks. Well worth flying from Australia to experience this.

An excellent trip despite only seeing one Grizzly Bear! Unfortunately the day we went on this trip the bears were very well fed (plentiful salmon stocks this year) and the river levels high (it was raining heavily) so the bears were not keen to come out to feed. However we had a great day looking for them as well as and watching the salmon, herons and other wildlife along the rivers. Our trip leader Andreas was fabulous and did everything he could to find us bears, even though his efforts were in vain. We did see a Humpback Whale on the way back though - so that was some compensation. Disappointing but there's no guarantees on a wildlife trip. The whole booking process was easy and the trip extremely well run.

All I can say is FANTASTIC! We had the best day! Excellent service by the entire crew and Captain Andreas. The Klahoose First Nation guides were amazing! We spent at least an hour with a sow and two cubs right by the viewing platform. It was the best surprise! We stopped the boat near a waterfall for coffee, tea and muffins. They provided a box lunch before heading back. It was very good and they accommodated dietary needs. Very well worth the money spent! Thank you!

Had a great day out. It involves a 2 hour boat ride to Toba Inlet to see the Grizzlies but we had perfect weather so it was very picturesque and good discussion on way out. We saw Mums and their cubs at different locations and a male bear. We also saw whales and seals on the boat journey. Our host and guides were very friendly and accommodating.

This morning I arrived in port full of expectations. I saw the presentation of the tour and it seemed valid. I really wanted to see grizzlies eat salmon. The crossing to Toba was fast. We arrived and they took us to the platforms. Lots of salmon in the river, not one bear. Like this all morning. Before 1 o'clock, their office-like hours ended, they took us back to the boat and goodnight ringers. To see the bears in my opinion on this tour you need a good dose, but good, of "factor c." as they say in Italy, because the time devoted in substance is too short and they do not waste to stretch if they do not find anything. As soon as you arrive you realize that it is difficult. On the other hand it is difficult to see even a person, even if you know his habits in daily life, if you only have about 3 hours to intercept him. Let alone a bear that has a territory much larger than a neighborhood! The ride itself is nice, on the way back luckily we saw an orca, which saved the day a bit! However, my dream of seeing even one bear feeding on salmon remained in the drawer. And given the distance from home so it will stay, I suppose. I would have liked more effort. We're not in the office with fixed hours. For people, this may be their only chance. We would have liked to have stayed longer, given us and the bear more chances.

Honestly it was such an amazing adventure, got to see A few Grizzly bears including a mom and her cubs. Well worth the money, all the staff were helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Also got to see 3 Killer Whales and a couple of humpback whales on the way back too, also spotted some vultures and an eagle too. Was a very early start but well worth it. 🐻🐋🦅

We had an incredibly beautiful day. Parking of the RV can be 100 meters away (free) and the welcome was cordial and the breefing good. The boat trip to the Toba inlet was about 2 1/2 hours sailing and Captain Jos stopped for the Orcas we saw along the way. The boat was comfortable and you could sit inside and stand on the aft deck outside to take pictures. Upon arrival the guides of the Klahoos “tribe” were already waiting for us and they showed us the Grizzlies. We didn't get them on a platter, but the guides did everything they could and we enjoyed the sight of the 3 Grizzlies. What beautiful animals! We spent about 4 hours with the bears and commuted from viewing platform to viewing platform. During the return trip by boat we got a more than excellent packed lunch and we also saw killer whales and a sea otter. Had a great day and very satisfied with Eagle Eye Adverntures! Also nice that owners are (were) Dutch.

Wonderful excursion! Compliments for the Klahoose guides, especially Troy gave nice explanations, also about his ancestors. Enjoyed the view of grizzly Patience which consumed 3 salmon during the time we were there. You have to be patient, we only saw a bear in our third place, but that is part of the tension. Beautiful boat trip to Toba Inlet where we see orcas, whales, porpoises, bald eagle, seal and sea lion.

We had a great day, our skipper, Andreas, was very engaging and knowledgable. Upon arrival at the Klahoose Nation site, we were warmly greeted and taking to the viewing locations. We managed to see a bear cub and mother almost immediately and we were able to get some amazing photos. Altogether a great day out and some great scenes of British Columbia.
