We had a nice cycling tour through the beautiful Delta and experienced adventurous roads, deliciously fresh fruits, and mystical tree landscapes. With our helpful guide Thi we gained insight into the hidden gems of the Mekong Delta while learning more about vietnamese culture and everyday life. Recommended!

We enjoyed a private bicycle tour together with Thi. If you want to experience the unknown paths of the mekong delta, this bike tour os perfect for you! We had lush fruits, visited a monastery and only encountered local people on our tour. Thi is a knowledgeable and caring guide, we can only recommend this tour

During our trip to Vietnam we stayed for a short time in the nice Homestay Song Ngư Pisces in Van Tho. We booked a bike tour through Local Vietnam where we visited the following things. A fruit farm, the incredibly large ficus tree and a Buddhist temple. We crossed a river on a ferry that looked like it came out of an old movie. All in all a very nice afternoon and experience. We were lucky to be accompanied by a very cool, competent guide. Nguyen Thanh Hien. If you want to do this excursion, I would definitely ask for him

  • Experienced and professional Tour

Edward our guide was friendly, professional and deeply committed to being a tour guide. We went as a family with two younger daughters. The cacao farm and noodle experience were the highlights for the children and my wife and I enjoyed the breakfast at the floating market. The amount of litter particularly on the river and throughout the experience was upsetting for everyone and particularly our daughters however that is no reflection on FME who also went above and beyond to help us reschedule our itinerary when our flights to Phu Quoc were unexpectedly cancelled. I liked the ethos of FME and would recommend them to other people. The heat in the Mekong Delta was challenging for our younger girls, I don't think it will ever be a favourite experience for.younger children but important for them to see more than just beachside resorts.

  • Signed up for a bike tour, not an extreme sport

First off, I found this tour expensive even before I booked but was at the last minute and I wanted to do it. That is on me. The first 2/3 of the trip was great and as expected. A leisurely bike ride through little canals and countryside. The 4 advertised features were all nice (dragon fruit farm, pagoda, ferry and heritage tree) and our guide Hien was very nice but I did have trouble understanding him sometimes. However the last 1/3 of the trip was a bike workout in the city traffic with the scooters, cars, buses and up big overpasses and bridges etc. We were also in a rush because another participant was late for another appointment so the pace was anything but leisurely. This was also supposed to be an eco-tour but I consumed more exhaust and dirt in that full hour on the way back than I did in one week in Ho Chi Minh City. We made it back without incident but the stress and the sweat left me less than impressed

Our guide Daisy was fantastic. We cycled in the area close to Can Tho, visiting a cocoa farm and a place growing dragon fruit - delicious. The cycle in the villages outside was interesting and enjoyable.

I had a wonderful time visiting Can Tho and the surroundings. Our guide Thi was very easy going, knowledgeable and making sure everything was perfect for us. I discovered how rive noddle are made, tested fresh cacoa, saw trade on flotting market, taste wild tree fruit. It was very convenient to have a guide to organize all the connections between transports (scooter, boat, bike), and connect with locals. I definitely recommend taking this tour if you are in Can Tho!
